Hi, not yet, as our sofa is a recliner one and is sooo heavy. As I am not allowed to lift my DP is waiting for assistance on the weekend...
We found more trails again this morning, including tons of them all over my daughters bean bag...
I am off to slug pellet everywhere I can find...

If you have a damp and fusty smell in the room too then it'll be worth having a peek under the carpet - I once had a mouse die under the floor boards that stunk us out, the slugs were having a field day on it."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0

glad i didnt offend you! its just if you didnt find any offenders (slugs that is) that could be the cause! actually - am seriously about the garden being infested - despite slug pellets and I had nightmares last nite about sharing living room with slugs - yeeeeuuuuuuuch!0

I found a slug inside my dishwasher, amazing how the little !!!!!! had squeezed in the door. Do they really harmful bacteria that hot washing would not remove?0

How revolting! Once had them coming in through a worn dip in the back door step. Rented house so we blocked the hole with blu-tack. It was enough to stop the slimy little pests.0

I used to get a lot of slugs in the rain. Then I started catching them, putting them in a pot and walking/driving them 200-400 metres away .... they never found their way back home. It took a few months but I did get rid of them all0

Not strictly money saving, but I know you are all full of ideas.
I seem to have a slug invasion in my kitchen.:eek::eek: Have been finding them for the last month or so, generally about 2 a week. This week have found 3 already.
They are young ones, light brown in colour, size between 1 - 2 inches. Always find them in a similar place on the kitchen tiles, totally opposite end to where spuds etc are stored.
Have looked for obvious places where they are coming from, but can't see anything. Now getting quite concerned about them.
The house is a new build style, approx 10 yrs old.
Anyone got any ideas? ThanksNow proud Mumto3 :j0 -
Hi Mumto2,
I have no ideas but there's an earlier thread with some advice that may help so I'll add your thread to it to keep the suggestions together.
