The series link on EPG will be highlighted in a different colour blue but as mentioned if you click on a program say corrie it then asks if you want the whole series or just that episode0

Yes that's another plausible reason. If its a new bix I would have thought it woudl have new firmware on that support series link if it doesnt you can try updating via menu or it may be re-broadcast at a later date. Or visit Humax web site for update and you also need a null modem cablesuperscaper wrote: »Sounds like your Humax still has the old firmware on it. Just upgrade it. Just had a look and the next broadcast of the latest update is Monday to Wednesday, so advise D.K. keeps the Humax on (in standby mode at least) in that period.

Well might be bought new but we don't know how old the stock is/when it was manufactured. But the description by D.K. sounds exactly like how our Humax was before they brought out series recording in one of the updates."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Hi Every one,
I've just put the start-end time to "on-time", I had it on 2mins before, and now I get a wee purple chain symbol....the missing series link? Pity there was no mention of this in the instructions.
Also Poppcat if I need to record 2 weeks of corrie is that possible because if this is the link it doesn't appear to go beyond 1 week?
Thanks0 -
Should do. If the series link is on it should record in perpetuity. In the specific case I set to record Coronation Street (for my mum, not me ) as a series a couple of months ago I think and it still records each new episode."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Well come Monday it should alert you if it's found an update to the firmware and after updating it should be pretty clear if you have series recording or not."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

It's mentioned in the updated instructions released via the HUmax website, due to the nature of Freeview allowing software updates 'over the air' you can never truly rely on the manual going forward

If you want to check what version you have then just choose menu > System > Status
On teh second line see what software version you have, it;s likely to be 20 or 21, if you have 21 you are on the latest version0 -
