I will give egg a call and see if they can offer me the 3.9% too.0 -
Don't know why they don't launch a market beating cash ISA. I wish cahoot would too. Looking for a decent home for my rubbishy interest rate (Un)intelligent finance ISA.0

Nothing to with Egg (sorry), but why not move it to Halifax @ 5.00% AFTER the recent rate cut? I've moved ours this week and they guarantee no loss of interest during the transfer period.ffacoffipawb wrote:Don't know why they don't launch a market beating cash ISA. I wish cahoot would too. sicker wrote:This will be at 3.9% until February 2006. The difference between this and the 5% from A&L online saver is not much
Presumably you/the OH are a non tax payer? If not the A&L rate will pay only 4% after deduction of tax...Ethical moneysaver0 -
Just my little contribution to the thread
Egg Money Card
4% gross pa/AER variable on positive balances.
At least 1% cash back on everything you buy.
Even more cash back from selected online retailers.
Credit facility with a typical rate of 6.9% APR variable
Optional weekly text updates to tell you your balance.
Up to 50 days' interest free on all purchases when you pay off any outstanding balance each month.
No minimum monthly payments when you have a positive balance.
No charge for cash withdrawals.
Was thinking of getting a cashcard card. What does every one think?

Just spotted this on the FAQ, according to the egg wesbite: "All existing blue Egg Card customers’ accounts will be changing to Egg Money"I don’t want Egg Money. Can I keep my blue Egg Card instead?
Egg Money has many additional benefits including an attractive rate on positive balances, a higher rate of cash back, no cash advance fee and text updates to keep you up-to-date with your money. All existing blue Egg Card customers’ accounts will be changing to Egg Money.0 -

Just wondering does it have the same aniversary offer as the green card?
I have checked my email and the site and i can't find any reference to it.My Motto in Life:

There's no anniversary offer because there's no 0% balance transfer promotion with the Egg Money card.max2002ad wrote:Just wondering does it have the same aniversary offer as the green card?
