Sounds like the money manager. I'd point you to some relevant posts discussing it (and it's like) in the Budgeting & Current Accounts forum, however the search boards function seems to be a tad knackered.

It's not the money manager, it was a budgeting and savings healthcheck. I've rang them and they have assured me the health check is something else!!!

Pass then. Most of the references Google found to health was to do with PPI. Others were insurance.

Egg kindly offered me 15.9% today on balance transfers. I hope they don't send that "offer" out to everyone just after their anniversary month. Sneaky.

I received that too, four months before my anniversary. Methinks more of a mass-mail than an attempt to catch anniversary BT people out.

Yes I do know. I've just been reading the product specs. You're quite right though I can't say (i've got it under embargo so I can evaluate it, but if i told you, I'd never get embargo'd stuff again) and even if i told you you couldn't act now, so there's no point

It is very interesting certainly, market changing, to an extent, but most moneysavers can effectively do better already - still its a welcome event to the market for the mainstream.

OK, just for fun I'll make a prediction that Milarky is the one who has got it right in post 3.

Are you sure it wasn't 5.9% until 1st Feb 2006 they offered?

I was offered it too and I am in the last month of my anniversary, so the timing is not specific to you :)

    Cheers, Des.

Lets hope the terms and conditions have no ambiguities. Or I may reserve the right to consider the situation. Well not said Martin. The economy deserves a sensible spending boost. Perhaps one that involves saving for something first and then buying at a discount.
