ha ha! i see that i am the enemy here, i do come in peace! they have made a lot of cutbacks and got rid of a lot of offers elsewhere which i thought was pretty disapointing at first but it has all been done to fund the new offer. someone has actually rightyl guessed one of the main offers on this thread already. they are increasing cashback and have even got 10% cashback at some retailers (and it is with decent retailers, not obscure websites)
yes i may work for a bank, but i am a consumer as well! also reading this site gives a really good insight into what people are going through when i speak to them - i have infact recomended this site to customers ive spoke to0 -
definitely keep your blue card. the blue cards are going to be changed over to the new card (although original limits and any offers your entitled to will remain) - id just like to point out as well, im nothing to do with the actual launch of this and i dont work in pr, im just one of the monkeys in the call centre0

The prices of the retailers that Egg had 10% cashback on could easily be beaten by other online retailers for the same product. There has to be something more to 'Sorting Out Your Spending Money' for the future of egg.
The news will break a few days before the alleged date and 'embargoed journalists' will feel obliged not to comment. Those who did not sign up can create the headlines.

Egg kindly offered me 15.9% today on balance transfers. I hope they don't send that "offer" out to everyone just after their anniversary month. Sneaky.0

Either Egg has dropped one, or this is an old thing.
Today I had an email from egg about a 'tool' to use to sort out my money - i've even used it!!!!
Is this what it is?
Anyone else had the email?

Sounds like the money manager. I'd point you to some relevant posts discussing it (and it's like) in the Budgeting & Current Accounts forum, however the search boards function seems to be a tad knackered.FTD wrote:Either Egg has dropped one, or this is an old thing.
