Whatever it is I hope it bumps up their share price - I'm waiting for them to be worth what I paid for them at issue again! As for the Blue card - I got one because they offered an interest free period but I would happily chop it for a different one, its just sat on my desk and been used for a few online orders.
As well as not taking applications for blue cards they have also stopped giving free travel insurance with household insurance - anything else they have cut recently? The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0 -
I agree, I've only really used mine for a few special cashback offers through the Egg site.KathrynPenguin wrote:As for the Blue card - I got one because they offered an interest free period but I would happily chop it for a different one, its just sat on my desk and been used for a few online orders.A penny saved is a penny gained0 -
I use mine regularly because it pays .5% cashback.
The Egg green card pays 0.1% if that now.

The whole point of this site is to thrash the enemy, the enemy being the banks, so why bother being a memeber of this site if ur not willing to take consumer revenge ????????? I though this is what this site is all about ?????????????? Im obviously wrong..............0 -

Fair point well put BUT put yourself in their shoes, OK he's teasing you about the new product but surely he didn't have to say anything about it, but then how would you feel if he told you the product and then got the sack? I suspect you would be nowhere to be seen. Would you tell this forum about the pruduct if there was the possibility of being fired by Egg? because I wouldn't.**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0 -
Actually, I've always thought that this site was not so much about thrashing the enemy, but more about people pooling knowledge to help each other out.
Try being a little nicer. Everyone who posts on here is a real person, and can be hurt by your comments.
I don't see anything objectionable in someone who works for a company giving a little tease. What WOULD be objectionable would be someone leaking confidential information before time and totally mucking up a company's launch of their pet new product.
Let's not get grumpy because we can't open our presents before Christmas. Super_mario did say it would be worth waiting for, so maybe we know a little more than we did before.
Hope we don't have to wait much longer though. Does anyone know when it is supposed to be launched? Are you allowed to tell us that?A penny saved is a penny gained0 -
err...see the first post in this thread, or the Egg website.Marigold123 wrote:Does anyone know when it is supposed to be launched?
