Yeah, nothing worse than having to drive back after 5pm the next day just to be sure you're OK! Last time I went out I didn't drink and woke up the next day feeling just as rough. How does that work?

I think it is something to do with tiredness. My last night out my mate decided she would take a picture of my while we had lunch the following day. Now I had a little hangover, but nothing to write home about, I think I was just tired (4hrs sleep will do that!) but I look terrible  And still can't believe I went out in public looking like the bad end of a very fat bus   :rotfl:

Hi guys, not posted on here for a while but im still reading, still single lol

I agree with Lucy - none of my friends want (or are able) to come out and play anymore.

I have been thinking that maybe i should concentrate on finding myself some new girlfriends to go out with, then maximise chances of meeting a decent bloke by being out and out more than i am now.

I joined a outdoor military fitness class on monday which was good fun - hopefully meet some new people trhough that.

 Your brave!!! I guess there might be a nice kind man to help you!

I went and played Badminton with people from work on Monday which was a real giggle and we are going to try and make it a regular thing.... although the sight of me running round a badminton court is not going to make anyone want to speak to me!!!

Sounds fun but hard work!!

Am convinced that a hangover is 90% tiredness, I'm a bit of an insomniac and some mornings if I've not slept I feel that same headachy queasy way, with the same cravings for cr*ppy food and orange juice as when I've been drinking!

I agree with the tiredness theory. Lets face it, listening to loud music and dancing at 2am isn't going to do much good for your body with or without alcohol!

(thats never going to stop it being fun though lol)

I'll draft you some legal documents that you can hand out like business cards to people about to take your picture in such situations. It will covenant that "Under no circumstances will any photograph taken of [insert name] be transferred by any digital means, or applied to any internet based social networking application, or any interest based photograph hosting application without the prior written consent of [insert name] and upon payment to said [insert name] of a fee of £20 for each individual photograph."

That ought to prevent people putting that sort of c rap on facebook.
Student Loan Company Ltd: 17,805 (2.8%) Overdraft: 500 (Interest free)
    Savings: £5,100
    - Target by end of 2008 £5,000+
    Net Worth
    1/7/06: -£32,698 -- Net Worth 25/8/08: -£13,350.
