The site is a tad messy I admit, it isn't as neat as some of the other sites I have been on (I don't make a habit of it btw ;))
But the 'talent', yeah i dont like the word, but i think it describes it best is very good. 71,000 people were online last night allegedly. They have their own msn type chat thing too which is a nice touch.

I am only doing well just based on the sheer number of messages I sent the other night when I first joined up! Last night was just lucky! :D

I think all the pictures I saw if 'those just registered' looked scary. Maybe I should be brave and give it a go...

    Or maybe not, we'll see!

Glad it's going well, it's all about talking to people and making new friends, so you go for it!

You should try it at least, you can just ignore the people you don't like of course and pick and choose. You've got nothing to lose imo. :) I have made a couple of good friends from Facebook singles things. I see this as no different.

I usually read the profile and if they have an interesting profile I will cite that in my message, if they just have pics and then no story as such then I don't bother as what can you really say? "Hi, errr, how are you?". Bit lame if you ask me. But then you didn't, so ignore me! :D

Another good thing from a female point of view is you can set it so only people that match a certain criteria can message you. I thought that was quite good. :)

Not exactly, they have a singles application which is very good.
But once or twice I have messaged random girls, one because she was hugging that black egg outside the council offices near Tower Bridge (I did the same thing a few hours earlier you see). Then another girl because I was searching for a friend but typed her name wrong and she came across really nice. :)

Hmm maybe I will give it a go. I guess i have nothing to lose.

Do you have your own inbox or does it go to your normal email address? I guess you can just not reply or stop using it if you decided you don't like it.
