I've just been catching up with this thread and am pleased to see people trying out plenty of fish! If you ignore the weirdos, I really think there's a high calibre of people on there!

On POF too, there is some weirdos but I ignore them too
Have chatted to some really nice peeps. Met one started a 'relationship' as such but don't think it will last. So not going to be put off and may try again.
Hate the gift thing though, because I tend to check out the profile of who sent the messages first before actually opening the message. But I am so nosy that I have to open if there is a gift involved (naughty me ) and then if they are a weirdo feel really bad for not saying thanks.

Well there is a page where you can see who has viewed your page, doesn't say when though, just that you have.
I accidently sent a gift to a girl I messaged for the first time last night so now she probably thinks I am a right weirdo. She didn't reply! lol"I'm not from around here, I have my own customs"

Well there is a page where you can see who has viewed your page, doesn't say when though, just that you have.
But if you log out then check username, you can see their profile without them knowing you even looked.
Have had a few messages stating 'you checked out my profile, so thought I would say Hi' So thats why I took the signing out route
