I used white vinegar to get it off my carpet, my son came in with it on his shoe, it came off no problem, not sure about trousers and shoes though but If all else fails I would try it0

I've come across recommendations of either egg white

or try dabbing the area affected with a small drop of lighter fluid on a cotton bud.
There's mention of Avon's Skin-So-Soft which seems to have a multitude of uses so may be worth having it in reserve just incase of another "emergency".

If you can't get it off/all off, then mask it with marker pen. The camera shouldn't be close enough to your shoes for the viewers to see. Then you can remedy the situation at your leisure afterwards.0

I misread that very early this morning as Martin wearing leather trousers.
Wasn't sure if it was a case of wishful thinking or tiredness. On reflection I think it's most definitely the tiredness :rotfl:

I would shove your trousers in the freezer, you may have a frozen bum but it would give the rest of the office something to laugh about.

I'd suggest WD40, it would kind of tie in with smile_mum's Skin so Soft. Its oil based so acts as a solvent. WD40 works on tar on carpets. Just rub in some washing up liquid into any grease stains before putting in the wash.
