Sounds silly but put your jeans in the freezer for a couple of hours. Chewing gum will freeze, then it should peel offf. ;DSometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0

Try rubbing over the offending area with an ice cube first it may harden the gum enough to peel it off. Good luck0

now rub with white vinegar or if you havnt got any use egg white
then launder and youll find the bit left will come off

I searched the database (get me!) looking for info on how to get chewing gum off clothes -this is what I found - the above posts about freezing it off didn't really apply as the bulk of it was already off the trousers with washing and scraping with a knife but the real problem is - the gum is on the hem of my sons trousers, they are fashionably long and he walked around in them for hours not realising that the gum was there so it's well and truly walked into the fabric.
I tried the vinegar trick but not a lot happened.
Anyone got any other suggestions?0 -
Dont know if this would work on clothes but...
I clean a local pub and to get chewing gum off the floors, i put really hot water on it so it goes soft, then it just scrapes off in a lump.
