I bet you are fuming right now as you know he will get a good payout form his redundancy. I read your other thread and think its ridiculous that with the amount he is expected to recieve he is not going to have to give any of it for the upkeep of his own kids
Found out last night, by searching on Rightmove, that ex has put his fathers house on the market. Ex is living there at the moment and courtesy of his previous employers has refitted it out (at cost price). He has it on the market for at least £30,000 too much - whatever is he thinking  he of all people should know what the market is like!

But the thing is....if it does sell and the proceeds are divided up between the siblings....what does he think he will buy and with what eh?

Got post this morning and received a letter from TV Licensing with a 'paid in full' licence in it - my LL has only gone and paid my TV licence for me!!!

After all the carp with my ex I just burst into tears at LL's kindness - makes you realise that there are some decent people in this world!

Just wanted to send good wishes to you, not having posted on one of your threads for a while.

Amazing to see how strong you are and love the way you give good advice to others on here.

I do try to silvercar but sometimes I just can't put into words what I would like to say to help - I tend to spend more time 'lurking' than posting!

Thanks Taxi and good to see you :hello:

No, I've never met LL or spoken to him either, we have text each other over one or two bits that needed doing and he has been one of the most kind, gracious people I have known.

Going on holiday tomorrow for 10 days courtesy of I-T :D so will pick up on the job hunting when I get back.
