Dustykitten - PM me with what you want to know re: the Wii Fit and I can reply tomorrow after I've had a go, if you want? I've already done a bit of background research on it. Thanks re: the food allergy book. I'll check ebay now and see if I can get one.Official DFW Member 716 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0

Prettypennies – what’s Gulyas and Galuska?Vanilla Who was it that had said about a thing they do when they have lost something and then you carry on doing something and you'll come across it??
Mudbath Welcome back and hugs for being so brave and hugs for your friends who have stepped into the breach...
Well, I have a confession to make. I have, today doneNothing
Well, that's not quite true - I've stuck loads on ebay, put the washing on the airer, washed up etc. But I have failed to paint the west wall of the kitchen. I blame it on the weather. We were SUPPOSED to have nice sunny skies today. Instead we've had clouds and sporadic rain. Not conducive to painting (that's my excuse anyway!).
Tomorrow, I will do better. I promise...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I know what you mean raph, I had a  moment when I went to the garage and foud Diesel is now 1.19.....****** what?! Unfortunately I have to have the car for work or else I'd be tempted to get rid.
Luckily I live a 5 minute walk to work, and 15 min walk to the gym. My step-dad is giving me a bicycle in June, so I can cope without the car. I should have gotten rid of it ages ago, it's recently had a new alternator to the tune of £260!! It's more of a luxury than a must have.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

to cap off a day of nothing, i have just sent out DH to get milk as we are nearly out, and told him to pop to the chippie. So no cooking or washing up either.
I don't know what has got into me today.
DS is tucked up in bed, and DH has loads of paperwork he brought home, which i don't know if he is planning on doing tonight or tomorrow, but i am going to either sit and watch carp on the goggle box, or read my book. I haven't decided which. I won't get away with sitting on here as DH will need to sit at the dining table and there isn't room to do both.
So, have a fab Friday night, and don't do anything i wouldn't.

I had my allergy testing done by him at the Middlesex Hospital in London (It was about 1981) to find out what was causing my migraine. (stress and hormones)DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

tracy - sorry your lunch went down hill. i think you have to be really, really bad round here to get to stay in hospital, not that i wanted to stay. they were literally shaking me awake and trying to feed me a sandwich so they could send me home. saying that, i'm glad i'm home now. going off to bed again, lol. dh has just phoned to say he's landed so should be home in 20 minutes. night all xx0

Pink Fairy - there's quite a few good gardeners on here - dusty is absolutely spot on about the soil, I'd have said acid too. Keep the salix away from any drains, also the weeping willow. They are terribly pretty as little trees, but definitely not for small gardens, and nowhere near foundations. Acers tend to leaf up late. Try scraping a little bit of bark with your thumbnail. If it is green underneath, the plant is alive. If brown, may be dead, but give it until later in the year before heaving it out.
The salix is a "patio" variety according to the label, so was thinking of keeping it in a large pot? The weeping willow is in the centre of our not very large front lawn, but it is only supposed to grow to about 1.2 metres according to that label. Do you think they will be OK like that? Also will the skimmia be OK by the front door or should it be away from the house? Thanks very much for the advice.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419
