and another thing - Nicki, you are a bad influence! I went to H&B this mrning and bought two of those file systems. They are really good, and I have been informed that I 'have' to go back in the morning and buy the rest for DH.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0

Another load of washing on think its the third today and i'm gradually starting to see the hall carpet. More shoes gathered up for the clothes bin so i'll drop them down tonight. Dishes and pots/pans all washed, kitchen still needs alot of work so that shall be my mission tonight.
2 poorly children starting to pick up abit and have kept down a slice of toast each.:j Still abit pale but hopefully this bug is on it's way out.
Now to rope DS1 into clearing the toys out of the livingroom so that there is actually a path to walk through the room.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Last night I was tidying up the kitchen before taking my DD1 out to twirlers. I was scooping up various bits to wash - teaspoons, knives, watch, mobile phone, and dumped the lot in the sink! Luckily the watch is waterproof :rotfl: Even more luckily the mobile phone was the cheapest in the shop (about £30) so I'm using DH's old one for now.
Off to cook pizza and chips, then dropping DD1 and friend at swimming then off to Embroiderer's Guild meeting tonight, so will catch up tomorrow (if DH lets me get near the computer )0 -

Ash I never found it did that to me! But I usually go the other way if it flares anyway, IYSWIM. Yoga would be good, or Pilates, or just relaxation/meditation techniques.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Just finished typing up my birthday/anniversary list and my morning/evening routines for my household folder thingy :j really getting into this... I think my OH is going to be a bit scared!!!! my 4 year old loves the bag boogie thing though!! my 18 month old thinks its a game and keeps taking stuff out or throwing EVERYTHING in so I have to watch her lol my mobile nearly went to the charity shop... luckily my best mate rang and made me realise it was in the bag:p !

Those Wii fit things do sound good, I'm a bit of an anti technology when it comes to game consoles, PC and internet fine, but I am well known in our house for being useles with the consoles. I had DP ready to take the Wii back because it was 'broken' only to find out I had it upside down
I might look into it.....see if they drop in price a bit or I can get one cheaper 'sent over' first.
Right, washing on airers, DSs both home, dinner of spag bol simmering away so I suppose I should go and do the pasta etc and instruct the boys on what needs doing first in their rooms as they will have to help this time, my back is going crackers so can't bend down to pick up their cr*p off the floor!
Lyns my boys are a bit older but enjoy a fling, they are old enough to realise what gets in the fling bag goes, so of course I have to double check what's in their bag as they compete getting a penny per item and have no problem throing my things out to increase their score. I think I might have to start fines for those items! One day I might be more organised...........
