Gulyas is basically Goulash Soup and Galuska are a type of Hungarian Dumpling.
There is a recipe for it on the UKTV site by Silvena Rowe.
    http://uktv.co.uk/food/recipe/aid/585156
I prefer mine a bit thicker so I don't use as much water.
Also, normally use veal instead of beef

Thankyou - that sounds really nice. I might try that this evening. When the recipe talks about 'sweet paprika' what does it mean? I thought there was only one type...

Right, I'm up, have bathed and am on my second cup of tea. Once I've drip dried, I must crack on. I've loads to do - not least finishing painting the kitchen!

Sweet paprika is basically the normal (and cheaper) stuff, as opposed to the spanish smoked paprika you would use for paella

    Morning everyone

Been catching up on about 18 pages since I last posted

Congratulations to Johanne and baby Sarah glad she has arrived safe and sound.

Hugs, ooohs and aaaaawws as appropriate to everyone else, and extra soft hug to Mudbath, hope it heals quickly.

I have been at work this last couple of days and got nothing done. Found out that my article in Police Review has caused a 'few' ripples!!!

Have to go now, shower, swimming lessons for A, visiting Nannies (brownies points earned for this week). A is going to the theatre with Nannie o will be back to pick her up later.

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Ooooooh cuppas, I'd love one vanilla, glad everyone's better.

I've played about with my sig, joined the grocery challenge but I still haven't moved off this seat to do some flying. Instead of looking at the whole list I'm gonna take it one room at a time, so, master bedroom first.

Gonna challenge myself to see if I can do it in 15 minutes, starting at 10.15....*cue Benny Hill music*
