    Morning everyone!

Not feeling too inspired today, but luckily DH is more directable. We have taken a large bag of tut to the charity shop (including loads of soft toys that came with my car:confused: ), done the food shop, and put it all away, and that is about it so far, but it is a start.

    Plans for today/the weekend:
    • [strike]make stew in SC[/strike]
    • [strike]clear ironing pile[/strike]
    • play outside with DS for a bit, and try and do a bit of weeding or something at the same time
    • wash my PJs/undies
    • [strike]strip ours and DS's beds, get washed[/strike]/dried and remade
    • [strike]put empty clothes boxes back in the loft[/strike]
    • [strike]put old TV cabinet out in garage[/strike]
    • hang pictures in the 2 bedrooms (x 4)
    • sort out the portable telly/freeview box in our room so it will work
    • DH finish the business accounts off
    • assemble DS's new bed in his new room so he can start napping in it and get used to it
    • [strike]seal up box of DS too small stuff so it can go in the loft[/strike]
    • try to deal with boxes of stuff from the landing so that is clear
    extras:
    • tool boxes and ladders now in garage
    • 2 loads of jumpers washed
    • baby car seat assembled

We may have said more than that when we came up with this plan this morning, but best make a start now i think.

    Michelle, x

Wow! I just noticed this thread and am so happy! I never thought that the OS board would have a Flylady thread! Right as it is the end of the week I guess there is no point in me posting my to do list for this week (as it is all done anyway!) and will wait until the new thread starts to add my list for next week!

    My weekend list however is as follows;

Cook a chicken pie and one extra (maybe two) to put in the freezer
Bag the rest of DD's outgrown clothes for my sister's DD.
Write out the envelopes for the birth announcements (I am due 7/5)
    Go Shopping
Spend time with my family on a family fun day!
And if I have time attack my wardrobe that DH and I share with too much clutter!

Oh Hello btw! Where are my manners?! I am Pippa, married since 2001, we have a four year old daughter, I am due to give birth soon to a boy, very much in debt and working out of it the OS way and thanks to Flylady a not very cluttered and reasonably tidy house!

Morning all, well I finished work at 6am, I have been to Asda for the monthly shop, taken poochie up on the moors & washed the car. Just enjoyed some cheese on toast & a cuppa.
I'm back at work at 2pm and had no sleep yet!!
Bloke who seemed interested in the car said he wanted a test drive this morning, no knock or phone call, so nuts to him. I'm not going to chase him, if he wants it he can come to me. The annoying thing was I could have grabbed a couple hours sleep, but thought I'd better strip the car of all my things, and give it a clean.

On the plus, Bank of Scotland have just sent me a cheque for £44.19. I paid off the loan a few months ago, but they obviously think I've paid too much! Nice little surprise :D

    Weekend list.
    1. Work to level 3 in the messiest room Cleaned car instead
    2. Bake a cake.. or some biscuits.. something yummy for dessert.. and I want pics! Not into sweet things, so I treated myself to cheese on toast this morning. Didn't last long enough for a pic!
    3. Meal plan for the week Sorted til end of month.
    4. Do a DIY task that you have been putting off since time began I fixed the hinges my bathroom cabinet last week. Only took me a year
    5. Change any bedding that needs it, or you missed through the week Only one bed, and it was changed!
    6. Bung a few bits of swag on ebay or fill a bag for charity shop
    7. HHI
    8. Binbag dance

    I'll leave 6, 7 & 8 for tomorrow.

    :D hello everyone
thank you all so much for your lovely messages, it's cheered me up big time. i am officially doing nothing but the bare minimum (e.g. get children fed and to school) this week. please shout at me if i overdo it. dh has taken the children to the alloment for the day and given me strict instructions to do nothing. a client of mine has come round with a lovely hotpot so i'll have a bit of that for lunch. some other friends have invited us for a meal tonight. everyone is being lovely.

i'm not in plaster but my thumb and hand is strapped very tightly and i have a brace to wear. i can take the brace off if i'm sitting with my hand on a pillow but i am under strict instructions to leave it on at all other times.

i'll get back into flying in a week when i've got over the initial:eek: of all of this:rotfl: . pigpen, where would you like me to send my doctors notes so you don't shout at me or will you just shout anyway :D .

hugs to everyone....hello pippa and welcome to the madhouse xx

    Have not been flying recently....sorry!

But I started the tasks early this morning with going out at 7.50 to the supermarket. Had a problem at the check out when the bottle of beer I was putting in the bag exploded. I ended up covered in beer!!!!
Anyway came home had a shower and breakfast, and read the paper....now its time to get busy

:rotfl: i'm sorry but i've got visions of anyone who was stood near you smelling the beer and thinking that you've started a bit early:rotfl: . sounds like the sort of thing i'd do xx

As you can guess i have it on and i'm never going to take it off unless it is going straight into it's box. Thank you both so much as i did the prayer and pin the devil last night.:A :A
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Mudbath, to restore cosmic karma, I shall work hard this week. That means that as you are usually working hard and I am usually lazy, balance will be kept if I work hard and let you be lazy. :rotfl:

    This weekend I should realy....

Level 3 the kids room (popcorn spillage 3 days and counting)
Clean inside and outside my car
Gather up the stuff to go to the dump
Loads of washing, drying, ironing and putting away
    Order the hut

Yesterday I had a manicure and my eyebrows waxed (nobody told me it hurt!) and I have still got £7.50 left on my gift voucher. :j So if I am a good girl all week, I will put the extra towards it and try reflexology on my feets. Thinking it may help me relax and de-stress a bit.
