Hello to all the newbies here - happy flying!

Sorry I'm seriously slacking off this week - today's no better - went out and got a little tipsy last night!

Well done on finding your necklace Vanilla. This thread is so great - if you have a question about anything at all someone knows the answer.

Glad all went well yesterday Mudbath.

Ok, here's my very reluctant list for the day:
get a few bits from Mr T's when the kids wake up
    get christening card
    take dress back to M&S
cook thai (red or green not decided yet) prawn curry

I know its not much but all I can cope with today. Back on form Monday - promise.

woohoo - been really productive, ironing pile cleared, DS's new room looking less like a junk room and there is finally some room to put up his new bed,

line full of winter woolies that can get a good drying, and will soon also have bedding on, and about to take DS out in the garden to play for a while. Doesn't get much better,

I love it when DH is at home as we get so much done and motivate each other.

sorry, not meaning to rub it in to those with blokie moans at the moment. I'll restore the balance, he woke me up last night to tell me he had to go back out to work. Although, the alternative of waking up to find him not at home would have been worse i suppose, but the blokey mind would not think to leave a note would it.

pippa welcome, can't believe we share the same due date - not long to go now.

vanilla fantastic news that you found the necklace

Right, going to go and join in this fun in the sunshine. DS is at a great age at the minute and wants to know what everything is, and what colour.

    Michelle, x

You know, I have mucked out stables plenty of times, and even once I helped to dig out a huge milking shed to find the cobbles beneath almost 50cms of muck, to turn them into stables for horses and pens for sheep. I have poo-picked horse fields large and small, I have cleaned out thousands of rabbit, hamster, rat and other animals cages.

But all that was easy compared to my kids bedroom.

I have discovered not only the spilled popcorn, but wotsits, mouldy digestive biscuits but globs of what could just be Alien Lifeforms.

Back to it, I have a DVD ion while I do it.

Just back of Sainsburys. I was just in the middle of givng the twins a right royal rolicking for charging round the store like idiots, when their school secretary walking past :o .

They are polonked infront of their PS2 now so I am going to try and get stuck back in to my list.

The leaking jar turned out to be a jar of Jalapenos. It had dripped through onto my napkins, tablecloths and cookie cutters. It took me about an hour to turf everything out and clean the cupboard. But at least everything is all nice and organised in their now.

It's bloomin windy up here today. I have to keep going out and rescuing the bedsheets from the fence, bushes, next door's garden. And all my freshly planted veggies are looking the worse for wear.

Right someone give me a kick and I'll go aand do something productive.
Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j

Thank you Pigpen. I took the dog biscuit to town to dip in my caramel macciata! It was delicious. Nomnomnomnom! I also feel better having seen your "To do" list!:rotfl:It's about as bad as mine. I;m thinking of posting it as a "To don't" list instead!!!

Boddy - so glad for you that Jake is back. It's so worrying.

Bargainbird - I agree with Dusty, you don't want to go back there, have a hug from me too!

Pippa - welcome. I like your signature!

Mudbath - glad you're doing OK, but make sure you take it easy.

Poohbear - I do hope your husband turns up! At least you now know where he's gone. Mine's just gone to town. Should I be worried? He's been a busy bee while I was in town earlier, fixing DD's hanging rails in her walk in wardrobe, and cutting the back lawn.

Lil_me - hugs to you and hope you feel better soon.

    Tia - :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Oh well, very late lunch over, so off to do some more work!

Lil_me hope your feeling better soon.

Livingroom looking good and all rubbish is out. Next is garden.

    RANT ALERT
FIL has just been over to tell me about gardening, so far i'm drowning the veg, it's the wrong soil, i shouldn't have them sitting where they are etc. He's now away with some lettuce that is coming up and he's taking them somewhere where it is perfect for growing them. Completely biting my tongue and smiling it's the only way. So he and MIL are going dancing tonight so i'll get the veg patch done the way i do it, seeing as i'm the one who grows stuff every year and he doesn't.
    RANT OVER

    Right i'm away again.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
