You misread that.. I never said it like she was a pain in the neck it was actually what she said.. 'talking a good ebay, from her bed'..
Don't read anything into my words that isn't blatantly said.. if she had got on my nerves I've have kicked her off the phone... lol.. though I did end up doing the 'mmhhmmm... yep.. a-ha... right... ok... no?!' thing after a while.
I wasn't reading anything into your words but I think you might have been misreading mine. I'm just missing my mum today. sorry for confusing you.Life is too short to waste a minute of it complaining about bad luck. Morning folks.
Sorry vanilla didn't mean to worry you.Just been busy with DS now he is not at nursery, and he has a grotty cold. Only yesterday i was missing though.
sorry some of you are feeling grotty. johanne good luck this morning.
I am just pottering. I am suffering a bit with my back. Yesterday i had a midwife appointment, where the midwife's bedside manner left a little to be desired as she told me the baby was going to be a lot bigger than DS was and is laid awkwardly so the birth is likely to be long and difficult. Silly woman. It left me a bit upset, but mainly because things didn't go to plan with DS last time, and it was a shock. When i have been thinking about it now, at least i know, and that is worst case scenario. At least i can prepare myself. She didn't think i would be seeing her again in 2 weeks, and honestly i hope i don't. Will be spending lots of time sat on the gym ball to try and make the baby move again, and having QT with DS in case we have to stay in hospital a long time.
Anyway, sis and nephew came to stay with DS while i went to midwife yesterday, and then we went to the pub for lunch and had a great time. The 2 boys get on so well. Then me and DH have had a couple of nice evenings in front of the telly - DVD the other night, Notes on a Scandal with Judi Dench was very good. Then some of series 3 of Lost last night.
Today it is just me and DS, but he is feeling shattered with his cold, and is already back asleep in his cot as the poor sausage fell asleep on the settee. I will leave him as long as he sleeps for i think - horrible cough disturbed him loads last night.
Right, achieved today:- WM - 1 load of DS darks, 1 load of mine, one hung up but other one needs doing
- written a cheque for ground rent payment that is due - need to get that posted later - will take a short walk with DS if the rain stops, or make DH do it if not
- updated spending diary from yesterday
- put away last nights washing up
Will pop in later.

Poohbear - I'm currently filing and shredding from the beginning of 2002 and I don't think much has been done in the meantime. Paper is the bain of my life - I don't have clutter to sell just a full room of shredding and filing. Tidying up for too long was chuck it in a box and stack the box now I need to get rid of the boxes so I can work from home in that room as I'm now taking over the spare room as well. OH back next Wed (hopefully) so I have until then plus some work deadlines to meet.
What are your mouse proof boxes - plastic with lids?
Can't recall what else I was going to say so I'd better go to bed.
The boxes are called Really Useful Boxes, plasyic with lids and I got mine from Viking when they were on special offer. The mice chewed through loads of old paper work and my late mum's wedding dress in the loft so I am taking no chances now.
Good luck with the sorting, I had put all of ours into boxes too, under beds, desks etc!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I'm never confused.... I just felt you were saying I was annoyed by 'having' to talk to my mother.. I wasn't at all.. though she was waffling a bit.. but hey.. don't we all?! I think she was thinking out loud... in my ear!!! lol
((((hugs)))) I can understand that... we are a very close family and always have time for one another.. since we lost my gran 3 years ago I and my sisters have vowed to always make time for all our relatives.. I'd never lost a close relative before. I hope you are feeling a bit brighter soon, and I am certain she is right with you wishing she could make you feel better ((((hugs))))LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
