Woop, Woop. Yeah! Just got a letter to say LO has got into our first choice school:D We are in the catchment area for one really good school and one really rubbish one. We got into the good one which is great because she is at nursery there so she will be going up with all her friends:j

    Morning all

G&B so pleased about your school place.

Nicki your post made me cry about your ex hugest hugs and good luck with your shopping. I tried to get a few bits yesterday for my summer lot of invigilating and came back with a checked bra - not exactly what I'd gone out for!

Feel grotty today, headache, sick and really dizzy - like I've been wacked round the back of the head with a frozen monkfish.

Had a row with DH before getting out of bed. He asked me what I was doing today - explained 2 of the kids were home due to the teacher's strike - he said he had no idea they were on strike - explained it was national and all in the papers but anything that does not affect him directly does not exist in his world..

I wonder if AF is going to visit early as I feel so tearful today - I need to get back on the starflower and some of that stuff one of you lovlies recommended from ASDA.

Quick tidy of the kitchen whilst I see if the second lot of drugs work - pigpen do you feel better today?

Dusty.. yes thank you I feel fine today.. I went to bed early hubby kept me awake watching Sweeney Todd.. which was rubbish by the way.

I have DS3 home today.. and hubby hasn't bugged off yet and I've just got my mother off the phone.. talking about what she is going to ebay... while laid in bed yapping on the phone!

The hospital have changed the growth checks for DS2 and DD4.. again... They were meant to go in July and we are now at the end o August!! I might just phone and moan.

I have ebay parcelling up to do this morning.. and DS3 can do some tidying in his room so I can paint it, or at least get a coat or 2 on tomorrow!

Life is too short to waste a minute of it complaining about bad luck. Find joy in the simple things, show your love for those around you and be grateful for all that you have. :)
  • I need a kick :rotfl:

    Bake cake,
    Clear and clean DR,
    Clear and clean kitchen,

If I can leave a bit early then I can go to s/market near school to get choc chunks... we have run out

Morning everyone, 2 kiddies at home today with the tummy bug. Went for a pizza last night sat in the place and poor DS2 was sick all over the table and floor, then he seemed fine until half 6 this morning when he was sick again but did manage to make it to the toilet. DD the same this morning.

Plan today is clean the car for tomorrow, getting shopping as no good codes for tesco shop online so i need to go in but have to wait on hubby to get back from the center.

Michelle hope everythings ok, haven't seen you on for a few days can't remember if you said you where away or busy.

    Pigpen glad your feeling better.

G&B glad your LO got in the good school.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

You misread that.. I never said it like she was a pain in the neck it was actually what she said.. 'talking a good ebay, from her bed'..

Don't read anything into my words that isn't blatantly said.. if she had got on my nerves I've have kicked her off the phone... lol.. though I did end up doing the 'mmhhmmm... yep.. a-ha... right... ok... no?!' thing after a while.
