Poohbear - I'm currently filing and shredding from the beginning of 2002 and I don't think much has been done in the meantime. Paper is the bain of my life - I don't have clutter to sell just a full room of shredding and filing. Tidying up for too long was chuck it in a box and stack the box now I need to get rid of the boxes so I can work from home in that room as I'm now taking over the spare room as well. OH back next Wed (hopefully) so I have until then plus some work deadlines to meet.

What are your mouse proof boxes - plastic with lids?

Can't recall what else I was going to say so I'd better go to bed.
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

    Morning all,

A tad less tired this morning but in a hurry. The roadworks yesterday held me up quite badly so I want to leave 10 mins earlier if I can.

    Have a good one

    PS: Good luck Johanne!

    Johanne Good Luck for today

Soappie- hope the roadworks aren't too bad today.

JillD Glad DH is coming home soon. Nice that he seems to be listening to your needs. Sounds like you had a VERY tough couple of years. Glad it seems to be working out for you.

GunsandB - sorry I didn't offer cake advice, cakes aren't really my thing  I normally do buns or biscuits, hope MIL visit went ok

Quite an uneventful morning thankfully today, just having 5 mins while DS plays and watches the google box on my knee.

Managed to get the ironing done yesterday, then when DS got up we spent 2 hours playing in the garden. Had a lovely time with, hes loving his garden toys and got very excited when I filled his water table up, really cute. Plus hes slept the best in ages ;)

So gone from t-shirt hot sun yesterday to pee-ing in it down this morning.

Right my own list for today, no mum to have DS today so see what I can achieve with monkey in tow
    • Town, check DS feet, garage?
    • Hoover downstairs
    • Dust throughout
    • Downstairs loo
    • Dust our room and DS's room
    • Clean ensuite

Johanne- Just so you know DD knows everything about giving birth so she's ready to help - she's just been reading the body book she got for Christmas and wasn't interested in any of it except the bit about babies :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    (((hev))) how old is DS?

DS is 16 months, and starting to exert his will  His teeth have been bothering him, he's been beside himself the last few days. Poor mite, although yesterday I managed to get him to eat some stuff.

OH taken Shadow into vets this morning, and they will keep her under observation today then he picks her up and gets the consultation in the evening - but she has really gone downhill the last few days.

I think I will do the therapeutic cleaning - throw what I can out, get into the corners, stardrops everywhere. If SIL asks I can always say it is spring clean time :p

Binmen are going on strike here, but that's just a challenge. :p

Anyway, time for DS Ready Brek.
    Always another chapter
