    Tee hee :rotfl:

    I've just seen off a cold telephone caller. Conversation went something like this;

    CTC : Can I speak to the person who pays the phone bills please
    Me: Who's calling?
    CTC: I'm from <blah de blah> phone company and I'm sure we reduce your telephone bills.
    Me: No you can't
    CTC: Oh, I'm sure we can
    Me: I'm sure you can't
    CTC: Could you tell me what your monthly telephone bill is?
    Me: Five pounds (crossing fingers behind back because I'm lying)
    CTC: OK, thank you for you time....

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    That happened with my Dad with someone promising to reduce his mobile bill. And he does pay five quid a month for his mob :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hiya guys

    Well third night on the trot, think that its a record for me...
    I've had a quick tidy up in our bedroom, I sorted out a few bits from the wardrobes...I actually found a jacket that I had forgotten about which will do for the summer.
    Tidied round the rest of the house and now having a site down as I'm getting catching the cold off the kids :rolleyes:

    Have a good night everyone

    OMG I am sooooooo tired!!!! I've spent the last two hours shreding and filing and shreding some more and filing some more. I can now find any piece of paper / course / diary / accounts for the last 11 years of running my business. Everything I have to keep is filed really clearly and everything else is gone. Another two bags of shredded paper. Another two crates of stuff to go straight in the recyling bin. By the time DH comes home on Friday there will not be one piece of paper in this house that isn't filed.

    I am shattered. It is incredibly sad at how excited I am about the filing cabinet now:rotfl: .

    Good evening all, I have done NOTHING all day.
    I finished work at 6am, then took dog out for another jog :eek: when we got home the dog collapsed on the floor :rotfl:I don't think she likes the fit new me!
    I got out of bed at 6pm, lazy slob that I am, and am now hobbling round the house like an old lady as my legs seemed to have stopped working. I don't think they like the fit new me either :rolleyes:
    I've chatted to my friend online and watched tv since then, and that's pretty much all I've got planned for the remaining evening.
    I am going to attempt a beef & mushroom pie for my dinner (any tips?) and I have a lonely can of beer in the fridge that I will comfort later :D

    Just pulled back the curtain to give dog a treat (the tin live on the windowsill) and found my net curtain has fallen down! :mad: Still nothing heard from the landlord either!

    Oh, I hope you feel better by then. You share your birthday with my Nan, she'll be 88 on ANZAC day. Is it a public holiday for you Denise? I remember you saying you're a bit younger than that ;) (26?)
