Pigpen, since I am vomit-phobic... you go deal with yourself and I hoep you feel better! :D

Hev, diet coke is nasty! Get addicted to diluting juice like me! Though, fizzy juice, too much coffee, fruit juice give me sore peepee so it's easier for me. But think of it this way, is your tummy all swollen up? Bet it is. A week after you ditch teh fizz it should look all flat again!

Panic one, the internet wouldn't work and DS1 wants me to make playdough

Panic two, I have no slat to make playdough so have to go to the shop.

Panic three, DS2 has a mole type thing on the inside of his leg that is pink and has been there since he had chicken pox. Now its looking a bit strange and has a red scabby looking crust forming. So GP tomorrow. And you can't pre-book one for tomorrow! Stupid bloody GP, don't they know there is a mother here who is being over-anxous?!

I'm off to make minestrone soup and hunt for salt, there MUST be salt somewhere in this house! I don't use salt in cooking you see... Had high blood pressure so stopped and never bothered going back.

    A big HELLO to everyone!!!

I've been AWOL for about 4 weeks but - I promise I've got good reasons. Yesterday was the first time I've logged in to MSE for a while and I posted today and got caught by skintscotslass...! I hope she hasn't told pigpen I'm back before I get to explain myself... :o

Short story - been sorting out the wedding plans and they have been very stressful. My mum came over with my auntie from the US for 2 weeks and the other two weeks consisted of sorting everything out before they arrived and now I'm trying to put it all back together. I won't be Flying this week as I'm recovering but, I promise (On my honour) I will be at least lurking and flying quietly next week.

Have missed you all and I've had sleepless nights on Operation Red Fiat. PLEASE can someone update me as it will take me forever to read through all of the posts.....!

Thanks and good to be back. ;) Ash xx

I wouldnt tell on you ;) Good to have you back and I'm sorry you've had a stressful time xx
  • It must be a Scottish saying :D

lol I thought the same thing when I saw G&B's reply!

Ok so far - since I need to make a start on supper in a min... I have:

Hoovered hall (was waiting for delivery before I mopped - will do while potatoes are boiling) Put everything back in it's home, cleaned the mirror.

    Sorted and hoovered shoe cupboard.

    Made cookies :D

Washed all PE kit and DW on again

Hoovered/dusted lounge did the clean and protect on sofas and moved any carp that had made it's way into that room

So lounge and hall will be ready by the time everyone makes it home so bathroom and dining room after kids are in bed by the looks of it....

Ok potatoes won't peel themselves - catch you later...

johanne - this may not read how it is meant but sorry to still see you on here.
tia - the same thing happened to us, but our solicitor went back in with the same offer a week later and this time they accepted it, he had heard through a mututal contact that they hadnt had any more viewers and just went back in saying that we were wanting to do lots of work on the house and didnt have any room in the budget to raise our offer.

My day of running around has had a good result and all monies are in place for the house purchase tomorrow, the bank were slow with the bridging but its all sorted out now, so fingers crossed tomorrow we should get the keys and be hugely in debt until this house is exchanged in June.

phone brother to arrange meet up tomorrow night
go and queue for diesel less than half a tank and we need to get to Aberdeen and back.

nicki, if you are on IS for now and applied before April it's on housing benefit, if not it's LHA, both are different, but similar, drop me a PM if you get stuck and I will help if I can

Just popping in, the suns out now  well at least I won't get soaked at DSs football which he wants to go to tonight for a change, well as long as it doesn't pour down again. Starting to struggle on the assignment a little so decided to have a break, I think it's because I end up being interupted every 5 minutes by the boys so might be worth waiting until they are in bed, suppose I need to make something to eat etc anyway.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
