When we were looking to buy last time, we saw a flat and loved it. Told the seller we were going to put an offer of £105k in, it was offers over £85k. As it happened our solicitor was on holiday for a couple of days and we couldnt get an official offer in til he was back. 2 days after we viewed the seller phoned my hubby F'ing and blinding about us saying we would make this offer then not doing it!! Needless to say we changed our mind about that one:eek: People go a bit crazy when they are selling i think:confused: Not giving him lots of our money after that;)

Would you be interested in buying my bedframe off me? Were looking to get rid of it so we can move pauls bed here as he has all the furniture to match and its all more baby friendly (but we will be keeping my matress as his is MINGING and old)

I was looking to advertise it on loot/ebay etc.. and was gonna ask about £50 for it to put towards baby fund.......but id be willing to do a special family rate :p:rotfl:

( Try this place for matress: http://www.house2home.org.uk/ - this is where i got the bed and matress from and my matress was £90 and was the top of the range one but they start at about 1/2 that......)

(P.S. you dont want a 2nd hand ikea sofa too do you?! :rotfl: Im wanting rid of that too.... no room for it!!)

As long as you'll do family rates ;):D

Even if they did come back to us, I doubt I would go for it now. I hold a grudge for a long time! :D :rotfl:

lol good for you, although if you still wanted the house and they came sniffing back for an offer I would deliberately give them a lower offer! That sounds so b*tchy but it's a cut throat place is the housing market.

Johanne - my mum was the worst for it! 'you're still here then?' erm, think I'd tell my own mother I was in labour! Got my own back though, I ignored her calls and texts for about 3 hours and she got in a right tizz ringing DH thinking I'd gone into labour. Hugs, you must be so fed up and uncomfortable, you must have made your LO very comfy to still be in there!

I'm with AnW's and would put in a lower offer if they came back...we did it on this house, put an offer in Jan and finally moved in August after to-ing and fro-ing on price and stuff and got about 40k off the original price and loads of extras thrown in, sevres the builders right for being greedy and waiting for better offers

Why oh why can't I get a simple answer to how much HB I'm entitled to? I think this is going to have to be an email job or something. I'm completely confused about what I am entitled to. New benefits system has just come into effect and I think I get £280 a month towards my rent, but if thats the case then I am going to really struggle to make ends meet.:mad:

My head hurts. I think I best leave it until tomorrow, at least I don't have to worry about paying my council tax - thats taking care of itself :D

edited to add: it seems I'm entitled to £115.38 a week this month, but then there is something to do with £15 more or something:confused: My rent is only £368 a month anyway. I'm completely confused :wall:

I was 11 days over with my first. I was very fed up by that time! Four days over with my second. With my third I disputed with them over the date they gave me. I knew exactly when I conceived her (I was there - they weren't :rotfl:). They just wouldn't accept it. By my reckoning I had gone 3 weeks over and was induced on the due date they had given me. I had worried about being induced because I'd heard such horror stories about how painful it was. It was the easiest labour I'd had. I only used tens machines for all of them.

Anyway what I've done on the list today. Erm. Nothing :rotfl::rotfl:. Went to "the big city" and did some shopping, picked up my zipper foot (now I can mend my fleece). Baked two loaves of onion bread, have two loaves of tomato bread rising, swept all the downstairs rooms. Done a load of washing and hung it out to dry. Now I'm off to pick up DS. I'll give the bedroom a quick once-over when I get back.

Just passing - thank you for all the help.

:o Still on the diet coke. But it's an emergency measure - SIL only comes round to be evil, so any stressful stuff like giving up addictions can wait.

Thank you again for linkys etc

    Pigpen - you are brilliant!

All the washing now dry and folded and put away.

I can hear people all round cutting their grass - so glad I did mine yesterday!

Really tired, not sleeping well with my brain whirring round and round. Roll on the end of this month, I've had enough.
