    So far,
    Hoover and dust livingroom
Clear all rubbish and clutter from livingroom
    All dishes done
    All bins emptied
    DS2 lifted from playgroup
    2 loads of washing done

    Still to do
    Brush and mop kitchen floor
    Hoover and dust our room
Clean fridge and do tesco order
Empty clothes bin and fold clothes and put away
    4 more loads of washing
    Strip all bedding
    Light the fire
Leave clothes down to clothes bin

Right cuppa first then crack on.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
  • Hi everyone,

I kinda got lost in the weekend list... posted a last week I think... mentioned something about diy and the jobs that have not been done :rotfl: So curtains are up in the lounge, filler sanded and painted over (and in the dining room too) recycled a bedside table and painted it for dd2. Killed the moss in the lawn (still needs to be raked though - I don't seem the have the right sort of rake...) 25 litres of paint [strike]thrown[/strike] skillfully applied to the fence at the front (more on order as I only have one 5litre tub left and more fence than I want to think about!) tons of admin done (since it is that time of year) I gave up trying to keep up with the housework while the kids were on hols they have been back a week now so I guess I have no excuse :o

SSL - wow - congratulations with your new house!!!
G&B - Chocolate sponge with whipped cream and strawberries/raspberries? tis my special occasion cake just shout if you want the info...
Tia - have you caught the moving bug too?! keeping my fingers crossed!
Johanne - try and relax and make the most of being able to - all my little people came along the day (or middle of the night) before I was due to go in to be assesed  although that could have been because I insisted DH performed his duty...
tracy - hope your day is improving.

Only caught up with half of this weeks thread will read some more when I deserve a break.

House is a tip - where do I start?! Lounge, Hall, Bathroom, Dining Room, Kitchen in that order.... no school run as I need to be here for a delivery soooo off I go ;)

btw PF belated birthday wishes - hope you had a great day :D

Johanne I hope your baby makes an appearance soon. I bet the last few warm days have made things more difficult.

there was a huuuuuge spider on my shoulder:eek:

    :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I HATE spiders!!! Years ago when I was on a kibbutz in Israel I got up in the morning to go to work and there was a huge tarantula on the bedroom floor. It started coming towards me so I leapt on the bed and it crawled under my bed and hid under my rucksack with a couple of legs sticking out. After work it was still there so I got my now DH to get it for me. He was chasing it round the room trying to get it into a jug and it was leaping about all over the place. As he was still trying to impress me at the time :D he didn't want to show that he was scared of it too :rotfl::rotfl:

He had a big hairy spider in his room there (a rain spider I think). One day another one appeared and they seemed quite happy for a week or two. Then one morning there was only one spider left - and the legs of the other one :eek:

I turned the heating off this morning it is boiling.

I turned ours off at the end of February because we couldn't afford to buy more oil! With just hot water it seems to last much much longer. I virtually live in my dressing gown now (except today is actually quite warm)
