Nope, they empty the bags into the lorry which is made of mesh so the shredded paper just comes out of the sides. They then leave the empty bags on the path and they blow everywhere. Not so clever round here i'm afraid. Hope you're feeling better soon xx:rotfl:

Then I'd be all Victorian.. dig a hole in the garden and bung it in... it is great for heavy soil..

Mudbath - put it in your compost bin

I like the idea of digging it into the soil. Dusty - we do put quite a bit into the compost but i've got two binbags full from having a major fling so thought it was a bit too much to put in. Might take some up to the allotment and dig it in the soil there as it's really heavy soil.

Oooooh nearly forgot....I drove the car. Yeahhhhhh! Wouldn't want to drive far but the short distance was fine xx
• got back an hour ago & have had dinner & now the kids are in the bath.

I empty the dishwasher befire work & hang out a load of washing.

With all the afterschool club stuff its hard to fit stuff in!

Evening ladies, just been catching up with the thread.
Tracy – hugs – hope the day got better
Tia – I’ve just sent a firm email to a non-payer (they won the auction on 13th april) giving them until 30th April to get in touch otherwise I'd involve ebay in a non-payer thingy. Then realised I posted the wrong thing to someone today so have contacted them and grovelled big time. I’m 90% certain the thing I did send I hadn’t sold anyway so I’ve said if they can confirm what that is then they can keep it as a gesture of goodwill, otherwise I’ll send them postage for them to return it. What a numpty I am!

Mudbath, I’m sorry , I couldn’t help laughing at the wine bath! When I had my broken elbow and was getting taxis to work, a taxi driver had to do a sharp stop which jolted my arm and made me screech out with pain – he nearly crashed again because of it! :rotfl:And well done on your driving - also do you have a paper bank somewhere in a supermarket carpark or something – just stick it in there – they’ll never know it was you!
Ash – welcome back – ORF ops are doing a sterling job and putting up with lots of ooops – Buster’s moved again pms. But, no perp caught yet
Pigpen – hope you feel better soon
Hev – big hugs from me too - I really re-iterate what everyone else has said - diet coke is an evil thing - all those additives of the wrong sort AND rots your teeth too - but understand and hope you survive the decent of SIL
I'm really pooped tonight - so is the dog. I've spent the day trying to make up for the lost time we had yesterday with the power cut plus fielding questions about other projects on the immediate horizon. I think I've said before that the dog comes with me to work (and sits in the office with me - she loves it, she gets SOOO much attention from everyone else!). Today we had a regular visitor who was at a loose end for a bit so asked if he could take the dog out - the answer was Of Course! So she's had an extra long walk today. She is fortunate she can just curl up on the bed and snooze now she's home. I have to think about flying (thought about that - and have decided it's the thought that counts...l. ;) for today at least) and cooking dinner and getting an early night. No idea WHAT to do for dinner and am almost too tired out to cook. But I'll go and forage in the freezer shortly...

Tee hee :rotfl:

I've just seen off a cold telephone caller. Conversation went something like this;

CTC : Can I speak to the person who pays the phone bills please
Me: Who's calling?
CTC: I'm from <blah de blah> phone company and I'm sure we reduce your telephone bills.
Me: No you can't
CTC: Oh, I'm sure we can
Me: I'm sure you can't
CTC: Could you tell me what your monthly telephone bill is?
Me: Five pounds (crossing fingers behind back because I'm lying)
CTC: OK, thank you for you time....

On that note.. Larger ladies/those with calves like.. calves!!.. (bottom of legs type not mooing).. a personal question.. how short do you wear your skirts... I resemble a rather unhairy prop forward in the leg dept.. and wear floor length clothes at ALL times.. (16 inch circ.).. and where do you buy boots from?? I can't wear any I have found so far and am loathe to resort to Evans prices.. plus they were all right frumpy this winter!

On the knee. See the link. I know it says thickankles but they talk about chunky calves too. And I always were fishnets.
