I haven't done but I think I need to. What is it?May Grocery Challenge £254.16/£3200 -
Its a sticky at the top of the OS board, its really simple, for the first month just keep all your receipts for your food and total up what you have spent. Use this as a guide and reduce it month on month. I'm aiming for £200 for this month(see signature) and i will try and reduce it next month again. You get loads of good recipe ideas from everyone on the board too.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Me, DH(who is huge, does a long, hard day and eats for 3:rolleyes: ) and LO.
Everyone has their own targets, its about what is comfortable(and affordable) for you. Ask Lil_me about it, she has saved a huuuuuge amount on her groceries! The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Thanks. Me, OH, 13 year old who eats like an adult, 11 year old and 8 year old who both don't eat much so realistically speaking I should be able to do it for a lot less than the £200 a week I seem to be spending at the moment!!!  :eek:May Grocery Challenge £254.16/£3200 -

That is a lot of money Sharon - and hugs and well dones for adding it up. Look at the meal planning threads and budgetting threads too. Is there a lot of convenience stuff in that that would be cheaper making from scratch?I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Oooohhhh nice! Have you plans for what you'll do? How big is the garden? I love the excitement on here of moving without actually having to do it
xx
The garden is massive, which is why aunty (I'm going to start calling her DA!!) is so looking forward to the BBQs. Its about 3 times the size of hers. I could probably built another house on the land, but wouldnt want to. I have huge plans, what I can afford is another matter :rotfl: I've got a builder friend who already gave someone else a quote to extend, so I'll need to speak to him. Obviously I'd love a big kitchen diner with a utility room. I have a gorgeous kitchen at the moment, which will sell the house.Oooooh, I'll need to stop myself buying home mags lol

There are lots of different sizes of families on the GC. You'll have that number down in no time at all.0
