Evening all. Hope you are all well. Haven't got much done today.

The course turned out to be really dull. The lecturer was a right old battleaxe who spoke to us like we were a bunch of muppets. And the room was a windowless, badly lit box with a dodgy thermostat.

I thought, oh well at least the free grub will be good (as it usually is) but it was so p**s poor I ended up spending £4.00 in the canteen .
I've got to go again tomorrow, so I'll be taking a pack up I think.

Ended up meeting mum and dad at the pub for a few [strike]beers[/strike] lime cordials:rolleyes: .

I've flung the vac round, brought the washing in and now I'm going to make the pack-ups and have a bash at the hob nob recipe.
Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j

That is a lot of money Sharon - and hugs and well dones for adding it up. Look at the meal planning threads and budgetting threads too. Is there a lot of convenience stuff in that that would be cheaper making from scratch?

Well no not really I do cook a lot from scratch, don't buy processed foods. I do spend £13 a week on a veg box because we like to try and eat organic. OH does eat a lot of snacks tho, crisps, biscuits, sweets etc and that add up so I am going to try and convince him to eat homemade biscuits etc. He also likes to bulk buy on stuff that is on offer but I think this is a false economy
