No probs Bunny.....DD1 will be 17 next month, DD2 has just turned 15 and DS will be 14 in July. Had them quite close together and it was hard work when they were little but it's great now as they all get on well (most of the time).

Shared custody can be stressful. I might as well come clean....I left my ex to move in with a woman. There....I've done it. This in itself raises all sorts of complications but the kids are cool. Most of their friends know and I don't think there is the social stigma there once was. I was married for 13 years and have been with my partner (we had a civil ceremony in Dec last year) for just over 6 years now.

Hope I haven't offended any of you out there. Please feel free to ask anything you want to - I've answered most questions there are to be asked (yes.....even those ones!!).
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

really....it's not hard to understand :T

don't be daft Suzy - we aren't offended by much on here ;) It's about doing what you want to do in life that makes you happy.

Anyway, I got off my bum and went to get my Smarties. Also phoned Kwik Fit but they said they'd struggle to do it before 4 today so that's ok, I'll take it in tomorrow.

As I came out of One Stop, a guy came out of the shop next door and we almost bumped into each other. I said sorry and so did he. As he stepped towards his car, he didn't even lower his voice and said

'Corrrr, they're a nice couple' :rotfl:

    I didn't know whether to be  , or :o , or  !!!!

I got into my car and thought - i'm going to be positive and I pictured myself going to the bloke - 'actually mate - they aren't bad are they' :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: In reality though, I confess I felt :o .!

I feel I should relay this anecdote to my OH tonight (without the :o bit) when he arrives as he is always so down on how I look. ;)

  • Afternoon everyone, i have been very lazy and had a lie in today. Got up at 12 and nattered with best mate on phone till one, ds made my dinner and now am catching up with all you lovely folk.
Suzy you haven't offended anyone, my dd1's friends mother did the same thing and their relationship worked out very well. luckily kids understanding, but they didn't do joint custody, she and her partner looked after them. The only downside for him is that his mum's new partner was a teacher at his school, but that sorted itself out when he went to secondary school.

A bit of a confidence booster then...don't feel down about it, jiggle them around in front of him and say i know someone who appreciates these more than you.:D :D

I dont think you could offend anyone on here. Happiness comes from many places. And as long as you are happy then no one else matters hun. You have done right for you chick. And i can say i hope none of us are judgemental on here. You appear to be a very caring person and a good mother. You have not done anything wrong to come clean about. So onwards and upwards. Right, everyone, i am home and i have given myself a good talking to. And the wall. And the floor. Put some pictures up now. It feels a little bit more like home now. x x x x x

Glad you're feeling a bit better smashed, just catching up here and laughing at the idea of Keren with her tassels - might shock him into action though! what could you say to that???!!!

Suzy no one will be shocked or offended here and good luck to you both. Do you live quite close to ex to do the joint custody thing? mine is too far away to do that really although DS is constantly trying to get him to move closer...

unfortunately I am on the larger side of well endowed, ahem.

I think I might have felt a bit better if he hadn't have been around 60!!! He was coming out of a car parts place, he had the real 'mechanic' look about him - he sadly wasn't worth giving a jiggle to!!!

(unfortunately skint, I think OH would just go pale and tell me to get dressed :( )

    Suzy,
Not offended at all hunny. My best friend is a lesbian and I admire your strength-that must have been VERY difficult.

Keren:Wayhey!!!!!!! Well done babe, I'd take that as a compliment as it was intended. (And they are a nice set! lol)

Bob:you lucky LUCKY LUCKY thing! Lie in til noon? I simply cannot imagine...

And while I'm here-does anyone else go MAD with kids toys??? I hate all the bluddy pieces involved with everything and even MORE I get totally OCD about them getting all mixed up (feel a Snaggles/Perfect House wife session coming on...) so in a minute DD and I are going to tackle all the bits lying all over my house (WHO'S BLUDDY IDEA WAS IT TO GET THE KIDS PLASTIC FOOD? ????? oh...me...) anyway-tidy up session to commence shortly.
