Have had a mega productive day.

Went out at 0930 for a run/walk session in preparation for RFL in june. Felt pretty good after that, if a little hot n sweaty.made breakfast, and yes i had a bacon sarnie, but i think i earned it!

Then put stew into slow cooker for later, had a shower, just been out with erin and dogs out for a walk in fields at back of us, usually cover about 2 miles with them. felt like more as my legs were tired from earlier!

First load of washing in, have stripped both beds too so would be good to get them washed and out today as is a lovely, if a little windy day today. Funny it seems like a good idea to strip the beds, until about 7pm tonight when i'll realise i haven't made them again!!!

Then Erin wants to go a wee cycle, so will manage that too but later, much later!!

Thing is am starving again now, so might have cup of tea and a bit of toast just now i think......

    Gee whizz will sleep tonight!!!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

what a day! Started off wonderfully well. Took Charlie out in the sunshine down by the water and then decided to pop to Asda for a couple of bits to try a SW dessert tonight. Fatal mistake.

Coming out of the car park, I thought I'd check my air in my tyres if there was nobody in the bay at the petrol station already - wish there had have been - put the air line on the first tyre and the valve thing broke - just snapped!! Flat tyre!! Second one in the year I've had this car.

aarggh!!!! Anyway, called OH as it was deflating and to give him his due he came straight away and changed it. I can't understand it though, I've never snapped one before in the 11 years I've been driving, and 2 in a year?!!!

I've either become particularly heavy handed over the last few months or, I've got woosy valves on the tyres on this car. Have to say, they look very flimsy in comparison to the one on the spare which is a standard 'wide' tyre - I've got low profiles on my car, but not sure if that makes a difference to the kind of valve.

Well I've never snapped one in the 18 years I've been driving - so you're not alone there.

Sounds like whoever did the tyres last got a cheap batch of valves, and now you're finding out why they're cheap.

blimey tigtag, that's not very straight!

The tyres are (apparently) low profile boy racer type tyres. They were on when I bought it, but I have the receipt for them in the paperwork - I hope I never have to actually replace one! ! I also keep quiet about the nice scrape I got on one of the hub caps when I was trying to turn in a really narrow street and caught the kerb as I've got the receipt for those as well:eek: !!

That's both the front ones that will have been changed now. I'll go to Kwik Fit tomorrow after my course. Can't be arsed to go now. I think I'll ask them when I go in. Last time, they didn't charge me.
