DFW Daily Chat - Sunday 20th April

Morning

Hope no-one minds me starting this, been up for ages with Natasha, who seems to think 5am is a suitable time to wake up on a Sunday...

What's everyone doing today? We are just getting a few annoying little jobs out of the way - paperwork, tidying the 'monster cupboard' (under the stairs where the monsters live :D) etc, and then I think we will have a walk up to town because there's a St Georges day fair. It only has a few kiddie rides, but it's on the park, so the kids can go on the swings and stuff as well.

Happy weekend! :T

    Morning :hello:

5am:eek:! I feel bad having been awake since 6.30 (but I wake up at that time no matter what day it is).

Have been really healthy this morning and gone for a walk - jogged for a stretch and need oxygen now! Amazed that I've done 3000 steps with it though and it was only 15 minutes! Am determined that I'll lose weight this time round!

Bit annoyed with the useless !!!!!! (really useful word that) - I'd asked him to phone his sister about the car boot at Yeadon so we'd be ready to leave now; instead he's only just phoned her and she's still in bed:mad:  so it'll be 9am before she's ready to set off!!

    Have a good one...

Yes, it was REALLY cold - we had a layer of ice on top of the folding camper - it looked like an ice-rink.

Good luck with the decorating...I love decorating, but not all the preparation, moving funiture, taking carpets up etc.

Morning jacs, Think of the peace honey. And one less mouth to feed for two weeks. Make sure he brings him all the tea and coffee sachets and little biscuits fromhotel room. My hubby used to do that. Lasted me for ages.

Cat, where is the car boot sale? I know it's somewhere near the airport, but I tried to get Stu to go and he said 'dunno where it is', in an 'I really don't want to go' voice! So if I can tell him exactly where it is, he's no excuse next week....lol!
