    Mornin:hello:

I am a bit hungover and can still taste the chips with batter and gravy on that I had at 1am this morning *yak*. I had a really good laugh and dance with my best matey and I really needed a good night out.

Only spent £10 as OH took us there and friends OH brought us back. I only buy coke and take a hipflask with JD in it;)
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

I'm at home with the kids all day and the weather is pants-was thinking we may go to the cinema or something if I can squeeze a bit of dosh out of OH.

Right, off to see whats at the cinema...

How much will you need for petrol hun? Have you got lots in your cupboards? Making meal plans might help? If you want any ideas...well, actually don't ask me because cooking isn't my strong point....lol....but I'm sure some of our super chefs (Keren, Bunny...etc) will have some ideas.

i need petrol to go anywhere further than the spar as thats all there is here i am 15 miles one way to one town and about 12 in the other direction:eek:

we eat all fresh which does tend to cost an absolute fortune veg salad fruit etc.

when dh goes later on this afternoon/evening and i have sorted everything for the morning i am going to have a damm good look and write everything down, it isn't loads but i am willing to look harder.

so you lot may be of help later xx

Well, they have 'Horton Hears a Who' or in the kids club thing 'The Water Horse'
I don't think Joe would sit thru the 'Water Horse' one to be honest so maybe HHAW!
(I have a voucher for a free ticket for me so it's just the kids now...)

We eat mainly fresh stuff too, and I don't find it that expensive really - you just have to shop carefully and stick to things that are in season etc.

Jacket potatoes with cheese and salad, and pasta with tomato sauces of various descriptions (depends what other veg I fancy hiding in it...lol) are our favourite cheap options.

    Morning All
Grey, damp horrible day again.....I need sunshine! Woke up with a banging head, sinusitus and a tickly throat. Best get some echinesea (sp) down me as I don't want to be ill at the moment, too much going on.
Not got much planned today, going to pop into town and have a window shop, when DH starts his new job we have decided to give ourselves an allowance each every month so im writing myself a wish list that I can save for (will take a while as I think it will be something like £15 a month!)
Jacs im like you this week, went and bought some essentials yesterday but now don't have any money (ok maybe 40p) until payday! Think the budgeting went a bit wrong this month
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
    Finally Debt Free...

  • Thanks Snags,
Kids in the bath then we'll set of to sunny Telford (ha ha)
Did I tell you my MIL said she can't really babysit the kids anymore? It's 'too much' for her. great. So it looks like I may be having to get another job anyway as we'll be stuffed for childcare...
