Morning all. Started the slow process of washing my AS kit... :ill: Then once that's done I've got to start on our own washing..the massive MOUNTAIN of it. Luckily my mate is having the girls today so I might suprise Ste and takes us out for a pub lunch. We had a row yesterday so it'd be nice to have some 'us' time. Tonight we've got the band guys coming over to record our 2nd song. Were supposed to do it last week but our singer didn't turn up as he had a massive fight with his brother when he was due to leave so instead we watched Jackass 2. lol
Hope everyone's well.

Kids in the bath then we'll set of to sunny Telford (ha ha)
Did I tell you my MIL said she can't really babysit the kids anymore? It's 'too much' for her. great. So it looks like I may be having to get another job anyway as we'll be stuffed for childcare...

Oh dear Bunny, what a pain...they can't be THAT old surely?? And your kids are so well behaved and seem to be able to entertain themselves quite well.
What hours/days is it that you have the problem with? Is it worth making a note of all the hours you CAN work, and then speaking to MFI to explain the situation and see if they can accomodate you? I know it's not nice to mess them about, but it's better to tell them upfront that you have a problem and give them some possible solutions.
If they can't help, then you haven't lost anything by asking, and they might just love you so much that they will give you suitable hours."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Hello!
me & smashed had a lovely afternoon in Leeds yesterday!
We 'mentally' spent about £10,000 each, looked at lots of lovely stuff including the 'gimp Ghandi' sandals in Harvey Nics.
We had a lovely lunch at Nando's and had loads of fun!
Today me and hubby are taking the kids to the new huge playground at Shibden Park, Halifax for a run around and a play! (it's free!)
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
I'm collecting those vouchers Jacs! PM me the codes!!!!!
That's what I'm thinking of doing Snags...nightmare. FIL is 75 (there abouts) and MIL is 67. They can have SIL's son fine every week but my DS has always been the odd one out for some reason. DD is a favourite because she was the first and my nephew is a fav because he belongs to SIL-poor Joe gets the raw end of the deal and TBH, I think he's the easiest out of all 3! Ah well...
I'm hoping to have a better day too... xEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

My inlaws did that to me when my boys were little, I had to pay a friends Mum to look after my oldest and they would wave out of the window as I passed to take him to her house as she lived on the same estate. They did lose out bigtime as the boys had no interest in them at all once they got older and I feel as though it was the inlaws that missed out in the end and not my kids. It does make you mad as hell though. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0
