oh dear. 4.30 and I haven't done any AQA yet today. I have washing up to do and also wash my hair before starting dinner.
Stuff it. I can't be faffed to start now, I'll make up the money over the rest of the month.

Thank you all for your supportive replies (as ever
).
Bunny: have replied to your PM.
Have just phoned DD1 (who is at her Dad's for anyone reading back to front) and she feels a lot better. Had a sleep, woke up with a bit of a headache and has just had something to eat so fingers crossed she's on the mend. Poor thing. She is a size 0 (although she eats for Africa) and is as tall as me (5'3") but weighs a bloomin ton when she is out cold I can tell you!YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
has she been tested for diabetes Suzy?

No Keren...I'm assuming the first blood test she had done would have identified that as a possible cause? Besides, she had eaten a bowl of cereal for her breakfast not long before she went to church. Both mine are sensible girls and don't worry about their weight (not that they have to mind, they both look like beanpoles) and never skip meals.
I will book her in for another blood test and see what that reveals. Thanks for asking. You are all so kind.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

Is also very slim and eats like a stuck pig.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Hmmmmm....maybe I should get her tested specifically for Diabetes then? I will ask at the clinic what tests they actually do on her blood and take it from there. I thought there were other symptoms such as extreme thirst all the time, but admit I know very little about it.
Aren't there two types of Diabetes?YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

Type 1, is usually in young folk and is related to needing insulin as the body produces very little or none.Type 2, usually occurs in older folk and is related to weight and diet, and the body is insulin resistant. But there are also sub categories and other factors. Google diabetes uk and it will tell you. I would still take her to GP s simply because she is fainting and best to get her checked out.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

yes, I would get her checked out at the GP and ask about diabetes, they may have checked before but if they had, then they should have mentioned the result in passing, at least.
i've been tested............hmmmm, 3 times I think and it has always come back negative. If I have large gaps between meals (not often a problem with me!!) I get the shakes and feel a bit drunk. If I eat something with a small amount of sugar (2 or 3 biscuits) and then a meal soon after I'm fine, but if I eat something really sugary - like a Mars bar, I get a headache.
Funnily enough it happened this morning - I came out of Asda around 12.30 and had only had a bowl of cereal at 10. I felt a bit shaky when I was putting the shopping in the car but then when I was waiting for OH to come and change my tyre I really felt like I needed something.
