ok i have done that now, but im trying to upload a theme, i have downloaded it but i cant find the correct place to upload it.
Ah right, in that case you need to go into your control panel and set up an FTP account. Look in FTP Manager and following the instructions.
Next grab a free ftp program from here http://www.snapfiles.com/Freeware/network/fwftp.html
Some say filezilla is good. Set it up and enter your ftp details and you will be able to upload your theme. Just make sure it goes into the right place and is unzipped first.0 -

In that case try using the FileManager Icon.
Once in that click the www item (usually the bottom of 3) then use the browse button to find the files on your computer to upload.
I haven't used it, but I'm pretty sure that all there is too it.
Although you may have to upload the files one at a time.0 -

Interesting thread - I'd be curious to know how much people make
A couple of bits and pieces. Sorry to be negative, but I'd be cautious about companies advertising 'search engine optimisation' - or similar - to help you make more money from your blog. There are a lot of dodgy companies/traders working in this area... One more link - there's some interesting stuff on http://www.mattcutts.com/blog re. 'white hat' search engine optimisation for blogs... That said, though, if the focus is maximising income then you may choose other tactics...

Hello All
Done lots of forum searching, but cant really get any hard and fast answers to my question. Can you earn extra money from blogging and if so how much ?
I dont currently have a website, or indeed a blog. But im sure that I could have one if it was going to be profitable.
Has anybody used of any of these companys (thanks to Geordie Joe for mentioning them by the way) If so, how much do you make ACTUALLY make from them. All of their websites promise big bucks, but is this really the case.
I dont think any of these are referall links, but admittedly, I did copy them out another post.

Payperpost pay but you don't get offered many opertunities unless your blog has a high ranking and google can reduce or remove your google rank completely due to having paid for links (don't know if depends on how many paid links you have, just links from payperpost or paid links in general)
Smorty is another one that I've got paid by - from my blog - "As long as (your blogs) are active listed on Google and Yahoo and fit their criterea, you can earn $6 upwards per sponsored post".
http://bloggerwave.com/ is another paid to blog site but they never seem to have many opertunities.
The Newsroom pays you to embed news stories, photos and video onto your website or blog, - each item includes either an commercial before the clip, or a baner advert next to it, and you earn money per view (not much)

You need a popular blog with lots of visitors to make any money out of this."And suddenly I find myself listening to a man I've never known before,Telling me about the sea..."0 -
I'm hoping to make money from my blog by becoming a best selling author, maybe I'll be the next Belle du Jour.
Ok I'm joking but I can dream.

i haven't heard from Digivate yet, and I'm sure I submitted my blog last weekend.
Maybe it failed and they just didn't bother to tell me.0 -
