Getting paid to blog

Looking on the bright side, google indexed my blog last week, which is why I tried Digivate. Then it only had 3 pages indexed, but now it has 9.

Don't know if I've had any visitors, well I know I had one because someone left a comment before it was indexed by google. But that may have been a robot!

We don't know yet. Well we have heard from others that they do but we don't have blogs that meet the critierior yet.

I had a visitor to my blog yesterday, from a google search. When I followed the link to see where they came from I found my blog was number 10 out of 173,000 results.

I Guess I just need to keep posting and when it is 3 month old I can apply to some of the sites.

Easy, in the google search box type site:https://www.yoursite.com

Obviously with your sites url. Google will then list all the pages on your site that it has indexed.

Eeeek!

Just found my blog is No1 in google search for a phrase that had 1.3 million results.

And it was a good phrase too, something I think many people would search for.

so, another site that i have seen is blogspot.com

am i right in thinking this is not one where you can earn money from it?

in which case i will use one of the others mentioned (although having a place to let off steam and have a rant every day would be like free therapy anyway,lol)

blogspot appears to one where you can raise money (from what I can see anyway but don't take my word for it as I am getting completely confused by all of this :rotfl:)


How is everyone getting on? Are people getting any views of their blogs?

You certainly can advertise on blogspot, and thus make money. They do have a (not all that well-enforced) any-spam policy - so if they think your blog is too spammy, it's possible they'll axe it.
