I doubt my blog will qualify, but I may find out more information.
Yep I applied to Digivate on 20-04-2008 and have heard nothing.0 -
They are probably been approved but we havent had the email yet....
Oh sorry, wrong thread - AHEM0 -
i have read this thread about 3 times and i am still confused...lol... ( doesnt take alot)
so how you make money is by siging up to google, and putting the google search in your blog, and hope that when people land on your blog, they will do a search, and thats how you earn your money ?
also maybe say about a certain book/product and do a link to it to amazon and if you are an affiliate... and a person buys the book/product you get paid a % like the cashback sites..?
plus you can also get paid if you do 50 + posts in a month..?
do comments also count towards getting paid nad also how many people visit your blog ?
and can you do it all on a free blog, or must you pay or a blog hosting site or something ?
sorry if i sound a bit dum, but i think i only blogged on bebo a couple of times, and then i gave up...lol...
but i want to have a blog to keep me on track for something i wamt to do... and its either going to take a VERY long time, or its never going to happen...lol..Work to live= not live to work0 -
Quite a few questions there COOLTRIKERCHICK, but I'll do my best.
You can use some free blogs but not others. They have to let you put your own ads on your blog.
You can put a google search box on your blog and hope visitors use it. You can also put google ads on your blog and hope visitors click on them. I find these more profitable as people are more likely to click an ad than use the search box.
Digivate will pay you to have links in your blog if you do at least 50 posts per month. Digivate is either dead or just doesn't reply to you if your blog isn't up to scratch. Comments don't count towards the 50 posts, but your blog has to fit other criterior.
You can have amazon ads on your blog and get paid if someone buys through them. The best way is to blog about a produce then have an ad for it on the blog.0 -
thanks... i think i am now getting the ghit of it so to speak.... so if you dont know if digivate excepts you or not... how do you know if you are going to get paid ?
also i know this sounds cheeky as you peeps have prob done all the ground work, but which are the best free blogs to use ?
also am i right in thinking it is best to have a few diff blogs maybe with totally diff topics/themes... to maximise traffic and potential earnings ?
i want to do a blog anyway....so if i could have a few pennies for it as well.... it would be great...
also do you get paid if someone just clicks on a google advert or only for a search... or if they buy something via clicking on an advert in your blog ?Work to live= not live to work0 -

We don't, as nobody in here has been successful in joining. I did a search and couldn't find anyone complaining they didn't get paid, so took that as a good sign.COOLTRIKERCHICK wrote: »also i know this sounds cheeky as you peeps have prob done all the grund work, but which are the best free blogs to use ?
I don't use free blogs so will leave that for someone else to answer. Although I an sure it has already been answered. I think it was between blogger and wordpress, one allows ads and the other doesn't.COOLTRIKERCHICK wrote: »also am i right in thinking it is best to have a few diff blogs maybe with totally diff topics/themes... to maximise traffic and potential earnings ?
To be honest it depends on how enthusiastic a blogger you are. You need to continually add posts, so if you are lazy with your posts and create lots of blogs all you will end up with is a lot of dead blogs.
I would start with one, if you like it and can keep up the posts then ad more.0 -
thanks goedie joe.... will take a look at a few blogs....and take a look at blogger and word press.....
is there a way that people can help in each others google searches...?
what i mean is.... if i went to lets say 10 of my friends who have a google search on their blog.. and i do a search on each one.... would all of them get paid ? or can a person do more than one search on your blog and you get paid for all of them or just the first search ?Work to live= not live to work0 -

The internet is full of people looking for alternatives to google because they have had their accounts deleted for doing that.
It sounds like a good idea, but google spends a lot of money catching people who try that, and they don't give warnings or second chances.
Their software analyzes every click and if there is any kind of pattern they will chop your account. This includes the same group of IP addresses clicking, the same number of clicks on your site and the same number on another site from the same group of people.
My advice is don't even try it.0
