I use wordpress.com and that is the one that doesn't allow ads. Blogger does though (but I prefer wordpress - and I'm not blogging for money )

I think with amazon they pay you when you reach a certain amount. You can track your earnings in your amazon account.

In another forum I use someone asked how to "tidy up" the menu on their wordpress blog.

Naturally I followed the link they gave, and was very surprised at the site.

Talk about ways to make money from a blog!

*noob question* What kind of hosting do you need to install wordpress? does it have to have things like sql? also how easy is it to set up?

You need a mysql database and php.

Most web space providers have an installer that will install it for you, but it is very easy to install it yourself.
