welcome Big Mog
LouiseJ is doing a spreadsheet so just let her know in a post or PM if you want to join in - you don't have to say your weight just a short term target you want to get to.
 I am cooking a SW recipe:rotfl: I am doing the cheese , potato and onion bake that is on the calender. It will be ready in about 15 mins and I am sure won't look or taste like it is meant to :rotfl: . Let's just say cooking isn't normally one of my talents but I thought I would give it a go:D£2 savers club 2025 #40 -

I love ExtraEasy:T!!! I lost 4.5 pounds this week! I was so bad on New Years Eve and again on Saturday night that I thought I had really blown it! I am so happy right now and feel totally inspired to be extra good this week!
Love
Marion
Well done Marion!! That's fab news! And a great start to the year!! How does the extra easy plan work? (If anyone has the time to post details would be much appreciated!! - I'm still just trying to plug away and do the plan on my own!!)

Well hello lovely loosers!! How is everyone today?
My first day is going ok so far, so far:
Brekkie - (and yes, I even got out of bed 20 mins earlier to make sure I fitted it in!!), 2 slices of wholemeal toast, spread with extra light flora (HEB, Syns?), Natural yoghurt and fruit - orange, pineapple and grapefruit (Free, Free), plus 1 pint of water.
Snack - mullerlight yoghurt, nectarine, 750mls water
lunch - Homemade Swede Soup (I stood yesterday and made 2 massive pots of soup, which should see me through the week! :A ) (Free). 1/2 pint of milk (HEA)
Snack - Options hot chocolate (2 syns?, plus HEA as made with milk), 740mls of water
Dinner......... TBA - just as soon as my mum decides!
I'll be at the gym for most of the night as well (Provded I get a bike at spinfit!), so by the time I get home, there shouldn't be too much time left for snacking..... Well fingers crossed anyway!!

Can I join please??
I want to get rid of 12 kg (nearly two stone if I've got my calculations right).
I've heard about Slimming World but I'm located in Spain and we don't have it here - can someone explain the basics of red and green days or point me in the direction of a useful website (I had a look at the official SW one but couldn't find the info...).
Weightwatchers is not for me, I can't stand faffing around with points...
Thank you0 -
well done Marion!!
OK,the new Extra Easy is basically this.
For breakfast, lunch and dinner, you can have as much of red OR green free foods on the same plate as you like. (ie, this means you can have cottage pie with a potato topping, beef chilli with rice, ham with pasta etc)
You can have 1 HEA and 1 HEB
You then have your normal syn allowance. If there is a difference in the syn number between green and red - count the lower value.
And that's it really.
It does away with using meat allowances as a HEB on a green day and pasta/beans etc on a red day as they are both now allowed free."Stay Wonky":D

Thanks BB - that sounds amazingly easy?! I was just worrying that my mum suddenly decided to have a "green" dinner, but that I hadn't saved any HEB for dinner to have the chicken with it - but now it looks as though that doesn't matter if I just start having easy days!!
Sounds as though it's basically just a low fat healthy eating plan then? Which might actually be more achieveable long-term?
Worth a bash either way.....

Hi there
Just wondered if I can join you guys
Money is really tight so can't go to weekly meetings, but I really feel I need to go on this journey with others who are doing the same. All my mates seem to have the skinny gene!! (green eyed monster!)
I've got stacks to loose and have also resorted to go to doctors and got Zenicol which I can tell you isn't too pleasant. Need to get down to a healthy weight otherwise dr has said bad health will not be too far away.
I lost loads on slimming owrld diet 10 years ago after my first child was born and went down to a very svelt 9 stone. But 3 more kiddies later and a bout of depression I have ballooned up to 134 kilo's! scary stuff - would love to get down to my or even close to my thinner self.
I hope that this will be possible with the support that so many of you have on here
It would be great if you could tell me what I need to do now as I haven't got a clue
I've bought some SW books off of ebay so have loads of recipies if anyone would like them
Here's hoping that 2009 will be the year that a new me is reborn
take care

yep - it's a case of low fat, fresh foods really. It's still unlimited amount, but I've not eaten that much in terms of portion size so far.
It also means you can have a green lunch, a red breakfast and a red and green dinner if you want, or mix every meal!"Stay Wonky":D
