    Im trying very hard today.
So far I have had on my red day
poached egg, grilled lean bacon, tinned tomatoes, 2 WM nimble (HEB)
grilled chicken salad, mullerlight and strawberries.
I dont know what to have for tea, I have some lean mince in, I could make a savoury mince and syn some mashed potato. What is the best way to make the mince, I usually use instant gravy, garden peas, carrots and lots of seasoning.Any advances on this method?

I know its a bit late, but just wanted to say you would need to syn or HE the peas as they arent free on red, only green.

I always lose really well if I eat lots of salmon, but there is only so much you can eat before you hate the sight of it lol. I have salmon on my list twice this week.

Craaaaap, I have completely blown it........I'm being really bad tonight and I can't seem to stop eating jaffa cakes or drinking vodka, lime and soda.

I'm blaming the stress and the upcoming star week. But WHY can't I just be good?

Heya Snags, try not to beat your self up over it...we all do it! Last night my daughter gave me a huge batch of chocolate cake she had made for me at school that day...had a little and said that would be it. Then I fell asleep on the sofa, woke up at about 1am and scoffed the lot! I always seem to find evenings the worst, sat in on my own after Emily has gone to bed and want to eat junk! That's why I usually have a diet drink as find that I don't feel as hungry then and use up my treats on a curly wurly or something!

I have been thinking about doing a couple of red days too as have only been doing green and I know that I will loose more by adding a few red. Am generally having a netrual day before tea but love green as you can fill yourself up! Need to find some red ideas which will fill me up too! xxx

Saying that, managed to loose 1 1/2lb this week and am now into the next stone bracket! Whoop whoop! But out that down to the exercise I did in the week as did a bit of Wii Fitting and went for a run too. Will try my hardest to go for another run tomorrow as need to start half marathon training soon...yikes! xxx

I love double fried egg (using fry light of course)and SW chips for comfort food, love dipping the chips in the runny yolks mmmmm

Or chips and mushy peas with lots of vinegar.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Hi Ladies just logged in,:j I’ve been a bit busy shopping looking for different foods to eat on this diet, I want to give my body, stomach, & metabolism a bit of a shock;) , you would be surprised at how the same old foods keeps the stomach happy, and stops the metabolism from working as it should and prevents us from loosing weight as we would like to, this is what I tell myself anyway.
I started off well today, like I do most mornings,
28g cereal, 100mls Soya milk , 1 tsp brown sugar, and 1 glass of ice cold grapefruit juice. Its how the day go’s on that it gets harder trying to stop the temptation of something that is out of bounds.
Anyway I decided it would be a green day today. I made for lunch a nice Egg Spaghetti from one of my many recipes, the first time I’ve made it :j and had a side salad too, it was delicious syn free. I have also made a treat for this evening with another recipe.
Choc and Orange Mousse it serves 6 only 1.5 syns each.
I have put in both recipes if anyone would like to try them

    EGG SPAGHETTI
serves 1 - green plan - sin free
    If cheese Healthy extra
1 egg 1 clove garlic (optional)
    1 tbspn dill seed
    salt and pepper to taste
    3oz hot cooked wholemeal spaghetti
1 oz Low fat cheese - grated. - healthy extra
Heat an oven proof dish until It is hot to touch. Break the egg Into the hot dish and heat with the garlic, dill seed, salt and pepper. Fold the piping hot spaghetti into the egg mixture, this has the effect of cooking the egg, sprinkle the cheese and grill until golden brown. Serve with side salad.

    CHOC AND ORANGE MOUSSE
serves 6- 1.5 sins together on
    both plans
1 sachet orange sugar free jelly - 2 sins
1 sachet options choc and orange drink - 2 sins
    150mls unsweetened soya milk - 3 sins
1 small carton plain fromage frais.
Mix the jelly and the chocolate with 1/2 cup boiling water until smooth. Whip the milk until double its bulk and whilst still whipping add the jelly mixture and fromage frais. Divide into 6 pots, cover with cling film and refrigerate.

I hope these will come in useful you can highlight them and copy & save, have a good day
