Morning all, I've been a bit below par recently, hence my absence. This is where I find out no-one has noticed !! :rolleyes:
Hugs to smokie and Pen Pin. ((((((((( X)))))))))) and anyone in need.
I haven't done much in the way of OS this week but I have managed to run the freezer down, I'm so glad I stock up on meals for when the old bod gives up, might even attempt to defrost it :eek:
DH DD2 and I will be off to s/ampton tomorrow for BiL's b/day party.
We will be staying at the Fountain Court Hotel Hythe for 2 nights. Does anyone know it? hope it's ok.

I've looked at the patterns for Babes hats and will give it a go.

Hello all

Lovely sunny day but still a bit too chilly for my liking............so I decided to tackle the long awaited pile of 'stuff' under the comp. desk "!!! Did the daftest thing and washed my hair first ! Clean hair ? Not any more.........I had a stack of for wicker baskets (real dust gatherers) full of things that really needed to 'live' elsewhere, duplicates of fam.history stuff -one I can understand but I seem to have four of everything??? So they're for the shredder.
Took me over an hour to sort it all out, clean it all so I've had enough of that for today. Time for 'me' now................lol

Happy Birthday Miss Penguin too. My oldest DD (my baby) is 16 today....EEEK!! She is having a lovely morning setting up her new computer (already online, lol). We are all going to a local tapas restaurant later (her request). Not cheap, but very yummy

I'm sure there was loads more I wanted to say (another rambler here...) but brain is too overloaded to remember much.. Oh yes, try the Eastbourne Primark - nice & big, much quieter than Brighton

Saw a recipe for lemon meringue cake on the FeedFamily5 thread, so may try to have a go at that today or tomorrow (and refrain from eating all of it....)

Sometimes you wander into this thread feeling a bit sorry for yourself, then you read what others are going through and it puts it all into perpective

I was going to rant and rave about the fact I fell asleep last night and didn't do any chores at all, but hey ho there is always tonight and life is too short to worry about the trivial things

I feel for all of you that have massive things going on at the moment, take care all xx
