(((hugs))) to you Lyndseyann-I'm lucky I don't have high bp. Mine is on the low side. Got to take my DD back to hospital tomorrow about her bp (it's very high) fingers crossed they will finally treat it instead of all this endless monitoring!!! I wouldn't mind but last time we went it was 150 over 100 and she's only 14.
Your poor dd! My doc once told me (with his tongue VERY firmly placed in his cheek!!!) that I had the blood pressure of a young, fit woman. Well I suppose I'm female!!!! LOL! It's still low (usually about 105/60), which I hope will stand me in good stead for the future. Hoping the kids inherit that from my side of the family, both my parents are low (mother is about the same as me at the age of 75) and dh's mother/sister very high.
Hoping they sort your dd very soon."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Thanks for that Twink. I've had to shelve my plans for this week...On Monday afternoon at work, one of the nice tutors I work with was scoffing a student's biscuits (they're not supposed to have biccies in class of course!) and I discovered that she likes all biscuits, but particularly hobnobs. 'Right' I thought and decided to make some to take in on Tuesday afternoon, but I've been ill since then. Never mind, I can do them another week.
thats kind of you, i hope your tutor likes them
hugs to tattycaths dd

She lets the students eat in class (shouldn't, it's an IT room!) as long as they bring her stuff in. They all go out to Mr M in their break. I've arrived there to a muffin sitting on the teacher's desk LOL!"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Afternoon all
Haven't read through the thread, only skimmed to see if PP had posted, will catch up throughout the day
Massive (((hugs))) to you PP and your OH
(((hugs))) to anyone else who needs them today
Not up to much today, me and DD went for our hair done this morning and now shes playing outside with her friends and i'm working my way around the house and trying to rest in between. We've got a busy weekend ahead of us and i dont want to be too tired and sore to enjoy it.
OH is home today, have missed him this week (shhh, dont tell him lol) so i've to pick him up from the station at 9.30pm (right in the middle of Bones, does this man have no sense of timing?! luckily i can catch the repeat on sky two otherwise he'd be walking home lol).
Tea will be bits and pieces from the fridge - leftover pasta salad, a bit of poached salmon, salady bits etc for me, DD will have the pasta salad and i'll do her a few chicken nuggets to go with it and bananas and custard for afters. I love all the simple, easy meals we have when OH is away!
Hope everyone has a good day
