Good Morning everyone and a veryHappy 15th Birthday to Miss Penguin
:bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake:
I'll be baking a cake and some flapjack today. I also have knitting and sewing to do, and want to plant some seeds in the polytunnel.
Have a great day, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Good Morning
Many Happy Returns Miss Penguin :bdaycake:
Have a great holiday - Martyn
(((Hugs))) to Smokey and anyone else who needs one.
Dull and overcast here today. Enjoyed Tai Chi yesterday, felt very relaxed - so much so that when I came home I ended up having a sleep. Not much else done as still feel headachy & sicky - not enough to need to go back to bed but enough to just feel horrible all the time iykwim.
So today will concentrate on paperwork and not do anything so strenous. No idea whats for dinner as feeling sick all the time makes it hard to think about food - will sort something out later then will hopefully feel better so can do next weeks meal plan.
Weather is meant to be quite cold for the next few days warming up monday - I hope so, I really need warm sun now.
Enough moaning -have a great day.

:hello: well I have a few days off now :j all to myself with no course work and nothing but me to please.
Just waiting for 8 o'clock to play the GP appointment lottery! DS is still poorly and we need to go to get the results officially that I already know via some insider knowledgelooking more and more like glandular fever, but he's been sick for 6 months now.
OH has been busy painting lounge - needs at least one more coat, and there are a few bits I need to point out to him
had planned to do some gardening but weather is looking very rough...and indeed when I looked up there, there are spots of rain on window. So might have a wander round the DIY stores. need new light fittings, curtains and rails. not too sure whats "in" so not sure what I want yet.
need to do some food shopping later.
hope everyone who's sad or poorly feels better soon. sadly seems there are so many of you.x x x0 -
Morning all!
Up bright and early-can't sleep more than 8 or 9 hours as that makes me knackered for the day.
Off into the city today and if I have any energy left I'll be doing some bits in the spare room-just moving things so that I can finish the painting by the end of the week. Got some birthday pressies to buy so hope I can find some things!
Hugs to those who need/want.

Hi all - just sat down after putting the BM and WM on; in weather like this I go round the house hunting out washing just to make the most of being able to peg it out!
MARTYN - rival me, eh? You'll never come close to it! Have a great hoddlydiddlydoodah - I have a feeling that this is the turning point for you; you sound so different now! This time on your own adventuring (think of yourself as Indiana Jones) will do you the power of good.
Well, DH has taken my car to work mainly because he couldn't find his cards and needed fuel and I had enough in my car to get him to Salisbury and back, which is where he is working at the moment. So, I'm on shanks's pony today. I only need to walk up to the local shops so I don't mind.
I'm going to get my next week's meal plan done today; having done another freezere inventory yesterday I think I can make some savings over the next week or two. This weekend we are going to try and get our car insurances down; we've already changed energy providers - Eon promised me they could save me £300 a year so I shall be monitoring that, and they owe me £30 cash back for switching.
Well, I must go and get a few more chores done so I'll see you all later.
(((Hugs))) to the poorly ones.

Well I should be at work but I have been unwell over the past few days and it finally got the better of me last night. Currently curled up in bed with a heat pack and DD2 has just made me a cuppa.

Morning everyone
I can`t believe this weather, there`s a fairly thick layer of snow outside
and here`s me wondering about planting things in the garden.
The heating has been turned up a notch and i`m not going to stray too far from home, i was going to go to Somerfield as they have cheese on offer but i might just do without. Today was also supposed to be car cleaning day and fill up with petrol day too but hey ho wait and see.
Mum`s coming over later, it`s been a while since i`ve seen her so we`ve a good bit to catch up on and i`m looking forward to it. Just made a batch of twinks ready for when she gets here.
Hester - thanks for the info on Amazon, i`ll have a look at that later.
Off to have a clean up and empty the wm & dw now.
Catch up later

Bright and sunny here again, but they have just put out a severe weather warning for snow, cant see it happening but then again  .
Off to work again today, DD is out with her dad, yesterday they went to Brighton on the train, she loved it and raided Primark with her allowance, not sure what they will do today, but she will love it cos its her dad
Sainsbugs delivery tonight, and chilli for tea, so nice and easy.
Kathy thanks for the reminder I have just switched to Eon, and they owe me £30 cash back, will get on to them.
For the opera buffs out there, I love opera but don't have any as I don't know what to buy, could you suggest a CD for a complete beginner ? its quite difficult looking for it in the shops as there is soooo much, and I walk away with nothing
Pen pin hope you are ok hun xx

Martyn enjoy your time away xx0 -
