Well actually had some post that wasnt junk today.
    a) Letter from Egg : SAR is on its way.:T
    b) Letter from Mint : Offer on charges reclaim (will accept as partial refund, if necesary court for the rest):T
    c) Natwest can't trace card details( not suprising the letter was meant for Mint PPI !)
    d) Court papers GE MONEY have 14 days to respond. (terrified this will be the first charges case they defend!)

    e) Grattan can only send 2 years worth of statements(wrote back saying not a problem just send me 6 years of transactions or I get nasty!

Hope you are all well, love the signature Marshallka

be careful the mint offer isn't in 'full and final settlement' if it is and you accept you won't be able to take them to court to get the remainder

    Hey guys,

    A quick question.

Back in 1999 I had a loan with HSBC for £5,000 with PPI on top and a few years later I had once I paid off the £5,000, I had another loan with HSBC for a smaller amount with PPI on top. Both have been paid off for quite a while but I was wondering if I would still be able to claim the PPI on both loans seeing as they are quite old???

Also as I don’t have the loan information anymore will I still be able to ask HSBC for that and will they still have that information??

    Thanks

If you do ask for the information they are only obliged to keep this for 6 years so they could say they do not have it. You can always try sending a letter to them. You don't need the loan numbers etc. just send them details of your loan with approx dates and the address, name etc. They could quote the limitations act here too as this is over 6 years old.

So is my complaint now with the broker Central Capital Limited and not Paragon? Do I send the same miselling letter I sent to Paragon?

In the letter Paragon sent they say that even though I've settled the figure I now still have the insurance unless I cancel it. Should I now cancel the insurance with Paragon and accept a rebate on the premium or does this prejudice me in my claim?

    Thanks for the help

    Hi Pinknico

You seem to have had more response that the rest of us on here. Am still waiting to hear back from Barclaycard Loans with FOS at mom. We do not seem to agree on a settlement figure. Oh gosh what a surprise:rotfl:

been away for a couple of days, been at my boyfriends - he's a single parent with twin boys, he's a fab dad but struggles to work full time and with keeping the house neat - I went over to look after the boys and cleaned his house from top to bottom - all three of them kept asking where things were - all I kept saying is 'have you looked in the cupboard / wardrobe / drawers !! I'm exhausted - glad to be back at work !!!!
