It should be anytime hun.
Did you also check this out on track and trace - on the royal mail website, (the date it reached them)?
I'm taking it you meant the FOS, or do you mean the loan company?
Is so its 8 weeks as from your letter just like Marshallka says.
Sorry if I have got this wrong.....:o
Yeah Printed it out and put it in the file :-) It was the primary letter I sent off off this website. Sent it to Household Bank Head office.0 -

Okay hun not a problem.
You should have a reply within 8 weeks if not before but 8 weeks is the timescale given for this.;)
Write down the dates on your calendar hun and put a cross on the 8 weeks.
Get back to us as soon as you hear then we will take it from that response to the following step.;)
Hope you hear sooner with a favourable response.
Good luck!
Di.

Thanks Di0 -
Received a reply from Paragon. They say that because we bought the policy through a broker, Central Capital Limited, they are not risponsible for a misell. They are offering a 13% rebate for cancelling a policy that has run less than 2 years of a 10 year policy!...Should I type in full letter?
What can I do now?0 -

When was your loan again?? It was 2006 wasn't it so you will be ok if they refuse you to take this complaint to the FOS. (most single premium policies sold after 2005 had rules to follow and central were authorised by the FSA)
Send the letter to Central and also send it recorded delivery too and then give them 8 weeks for a full and final response.
I certainly would not accept that refund offered. Its an insult.0 -

Hi hun
its mainly the broker who sold/arranged the loan is responsible, and its them then you complain to.
If you still a copy of your letter sent to Paragon, just copy from that to Central Capital hun, send it for ASAP.
I can also see that Marshallka has posted to help and guide you here, good luck!

Hi hun
Exactly the same letter as mine also from Lloyds and loads of others too.
Write back until you receive the letter with the "final decision" and they will again also mention the FOS.
The Financial ombudsman service will only look at your complaint if its that of a Final decision given from the firm.;)
Write back again and give a reason for your complaint, you will have to tell them that your not happy about their response and you would appreciate if if they could reconsider looking at your complaint, as you believe you were mis sold "due to your reasons - and try to give an explanation on each one if you can".
Even if they let you down on the final letter then do not despair, unfortunately Lloyds are known for it and I have my cases being dealt with by the FOS right now about these.
The next step if not successful will then be a complaint to the FOS, so write back to Lloyds, wait for a reply, then see what is what, let us know and we will take if from there.;)
But do not worry, we will work on this okay hun.;)
