Our monthly income against the mortgage INTEREST only that we pay (due to putting everything - all debts - onto the mortgage) is leaving us with not a lot and its not to do with benefits etc. Its to do with losing our home. We have reduced to interest only and cannot do anything more. We have had to have new boiler as the other was condemned 3 years previous and we have made do with it coming on when it wanted and going cold all the time. I wish we had left the debts in cards etc and not secured it. At least our home would have been secure but it was since the Barclays Firstplus loan that we got into difficulties paying it back. The settlement was a shock to the system and left us with financial difficulties that we still have now. That blummin loan was the biggest mistake of our lives.0

Its down to these loans of why most of us are now in this situation... , the ppi did not help, as you know its like a 2nd secured loan added in with the standard loan.
Very naughty I say !!
We should have been disclosed this and due to this reason in my opinion our complaints should be looked at regulated or not !!!
You should be eligible for fast track in your situation too hunni.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

In my Lloyds TSB credit card ppi complaint to the FOS I did not mention anything then on the forms about fast tracking because this was sent before hubby went on the sick.
It was over 2 weeks ago I requested this and then told someone would be in touch, as I expected to send in evidence towards this if they had requested this, but the next I heard then was from that adjudicator to say he was dealing with my complaint.
Wonder if they do actually really need evidence to prove the difficulties and hardship in case mine is being dealt with on fast track ??
Like I said I requested it but was not asked to send anything in- in that case.
Although with the Endeavour one I did just in case.:rolleyes:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Now before with my complaint about these it was fast tracked I think as i was assigned an adjudicator pretty quick and nothing has changed for us. It depends who looks into it i suppose. It will not get fast tracked now Di. They would have told us by now and they have not.
Let me get it right now.
Did you request this the same time as when you sent in your complaint ?
As I did not with Lloyds and left it until as said 2 weeks ago to request this maybe you can still try to push for it no matter how long your complaint has been in with them.......
I'm sure they should be able to let you know if they will or won't be ??The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Going to get tea prepared, back and forth for now......:D

I have now just read about the Blackhorse complaint that you responded to and Lloyds on the loan thread. The person said that although Black horse are part of Lloyds the FOS cannot look into this as they sell loans and PPI in their own right. I bet this will happen with Barclays FIrstplus. I bloody hope not after waiting again another 2 months to be told sorry no can do.0 -

Afternoon all!
Just got back an email from Mr Farr. Will keep you updated when/ if the letter arrives. A stalling tactic me thinks. Has anyone esle got letters from them? will they just tell me to go away?
Dear Rennison, thank you for your e-mail, I received an e-mail from Freedom Finance on the 14th of August, I responded to this letter by post to the address on the communication sent from Freedom (Moray).
We have in the past had one or two issues with post not arriving from Gibraltar. I can only assume that the letter for whatever reason did not make it to you. This being the case, I will send a copy out to you by post today.
This is the fist communication we have had from you. It might be best if you are to write to us to send it by recorded delivery to ensure it gets to us.
Kind regards,
Iain
