Hi Marshallka,
Looks like I will be coming back to you again for more help.
So you have received letters from them too, what do you think it will say?
Thanks, Simonelight bulb moment: 30.08.08!!0 -
Hi Di
Probably wanting to meet with you to see if they can sell you anything else or whether you have adequate PPI. We get yearly calls like that to both my OH and business partner and they use to come back with other policies insurances etc. They are obviously on a commission to sell for their lovely holiday abroad.
Di why don't you look into opening a bank account with a different bank just for peace of mind. You can change all your insurances etc etc and probably save money:eek:
Please do not be concerned put it into perspective you and your family are fine it is just a bank:T0 -
Aww thanks for reassuring me hunni, I expect that's what it is, we have not had a review for coming up a year so yep hun, its highly likely to be that then, will get hubby to ring them tomorrow, as she was the one who sold him the credit card/ppi and its in with the FOS right now, well have been since June, but I don't think hubby will discuss anything to her if its anything to do with the complaint.;)
No Di quite agree. I would keep all conversations through FOS since they are involved at moment.
I know I am Mrs Negative but do not trust any of them at the moment. Everything else in my life is positive and good:rotfl:so not my normal personality.:mad:0 -

"Your complaint has been passed to us by ??????????? - we have completed our investigation as follows:
At the time of conducting business with you, Freedom Finance (acting on behalf of Bespoke finance) was not required to be autorised and regulated by the FSA.
It has always been our policy to provide clear documentation and to ensure our customers are provided with comprehensive information before committing to securing a loan against their property or taking optional PPI.
Our policy for the sale of PPI operated from a purely optional perspective. At the time of application Freedom Finance provided you with a booklet outlining the beneifts and conditions of the optional PPI, it also stated the policy term was 5 years. This booklet was designed by your loan lender and issued by freedom finance prior to the signature of the credit agreement. Employees joining the business are briefed and assessed at induction on their understanding of the payment protection products and would have been keen to answer any questions or concerns.
Our records indicate that you signed the credit agreement to include payment protection to cover your loan. The agreement stated that signing the doc confirmed that you had read and understood the PPplan summary and that the premium for the insurance was added to your loan paid for within your monthly installments.
Based upon this information we are unable to uphold your complaint."
oh and it will also say that they treat customer complaints serious. (I bet you this)0 -

Usual letters go out yawn usual wording yawn how predictable. Treating customers fairly and individually I think not:eek::mad:0 -
Have you seen all the posts about welcome finance and their settlement figures it makes my blood boil.
