the paperwork i have is at home at the mo....

it was listed with a product code, and with the total amount payable (over £500 with interest), as well as listing the interest rate for it (the same rate as the loan) and the monthly amounts.

this sounds like a loan on top of a loan to me? without looking i'm not sure though.:o
Yeah, with it having interest on top it does sound like a single premium. When was this and who actually sold it to you cause if you are claiming misselling here then you have to claim from the company that actually sold the policy.

the loan agreement started in june 04 with A+L. the insurance started at the same time, also through A+L (there is paperwork that has both the loan and insurance payment on the same sheet). the first payment was made in July 2004.

the loan was for 60 months, and i paid the outstanding balance in July or August of last year.

    thanks.

You need to first send the first template letter adding deleting what is applicable to you and then you give them 8 weeks for a full and final response. Send it recorded delivery so you have a proof of posting.

They will pobably reply with a fob off first and then you can write again. This is normal and then after that if its still not the response you want you can take your complaint to the FOS. First you need a final response from them for this so its 8 weeks from when you first write your complaint or sooner if they give you a final before.

Good luck and shout if you need us.

I personally not known anyone to go this far, so far its been a matter of people finding out before the 5 years comes in about the mis selling on these products, not unless anyone else could confirm otherwise on this.;)

    Hi Sue
They always deny mis selling hunni, and they always state we answered all the questions and so on, this is basic.
Now if you believe you have grounds for your being mis sold, you need to fight this out hun, as you know there are many reasons of why this was the case, so do not leave it there.;)

Have you checked out the mis selling list on this site hun on here?

Don't let them get away with it.;)
