It came to mind earlier about the FSA regulating etc, and if you remember we were chatting about this before about all mis sold ppi's should be looked at no matter when this was sold, something like that.

The wider implications thing has not come about as yet. Maybe they are holding onto my firstplus one just in case it does in the near future. (LOL)

I suspect the calculation (after taking off the £70 from the monthly premium) might be 78% of the remaining amount - 78% it's their magic number !!!
