We went through Loans.co.uk the first time who brokered on behalf of FirstPlus, then when we went for the further advance we went direct to FirstPlus.
You will now have to do two seperate claims. One to Loans.co.uk

Loans.co.uk, Building 2, Croxley Green Business Park, Watford, Herts, WD18 8TD
Registered number 3391635 England and Wales

and one to Firstplus. Just take out the issues about the first loan in the letter to Firstplus and then concoct one (after you have the agreement from Firstplus) to Loans.co.uk.

Also ask firstplus for a breakdown of the settlement.

Incidently, did you ever request the SAR from the letter i posted you a while ago. It may be a good idea but cost you £10??
  • Finally got a response to my letter to Goldfish today...........I sent it in January...........and they said no without actually addressing my concerns!

To add insult to injury phoned them today and they refuse to discuss it as it has been sold on to debt collection - the day they sent the refusal letter! Debt collection have just turned round and said there is no way I'll get insurance premiums back!

usually though if a company is actually sold on then so are the assets and liabilities too.

As Tiggrae said the assets were brought but not the liabilities .

Sometimes they are good for giving you a better idea of dates etc and what was said and done. You don't have to have one but like i say, sometimes a good idea. They do take up to 40 days to arrive so its best to just ask for the agreement and breakdown of settlement for now. You need these to get on with your claims.

    I wonder why:rolleyes: .

Another well set up contract then.

I didn't think a company could be sold on like that.

So could i set up a company. Get myself into lots of debts and then only sell the assets and leave my debts to whoever.....
