They called me out of the blue to tell me I'd been missold PPI with my mortgage almost 4 years ago....naturally I asked how they knew this and apparently it was via a data collection service? Their website seems quite real however I feel that if something sounds too good to be true it usually is! They say they'll charge me £49.50 to cover the cost of the admin (which I'll be refunded once my claim is heard & I've had my refund) and I could get between £800-£2000.....I wonder however if this is a conservative estimate and they are taking a percentage?
Should I just try myself? HELP!!! We're in financial hardship and this would really help us at the moment....thanks
Hi there
I have not heard of them myself hun, but to be honest if you believe now you were mis sold I would try to reclaim this yourself.;)
I'm not saying they are not a geniune company but best be careful just in case and if you think you have a case, you can have all the free help and guidance here.;)

I posted earlier again for Tiggrae to check my Loan complaint if she thought it was ok and the notes i put. Have not heard anything back. She worried me again.
Its been sent thought now so just have to wait and see. I wanted it to be my work really as I know what i am complaining about and if they ask questions i can then answer to the best of my knowledge.0 -
Yep maybe hun.
I know Twopart/eloan liquidated in May 2008 where the liquidators take over, even though we were advised to take this straight to the FSCS, (by the FSCS themselves), I told them that we also had a letter from the liquidators who generally get involved when these companies liquidate/dissolve and was told that its procedure to register with the liquidators too, so now in the process of doing that, which may be a come back later on otherwise......
The liquidators passed us straight to the FSCS but this may change ,really not clued up with the process would love to know someone who is.DS1 12/10/04

That's right no Singlep for a while either.
I'm sure Tiggrae will get back to check it out hun, and from what I've seen on here, you have done brilliantly well, and I think it will be just fine.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Well this is what will probably happen to me, even though they sent a form form for us to fill in, I think this is just procedure where I will get the same knock-back from the liquidators like I did with an older claim with a different firm that dissolved but that firm was not regulated, so I could not forward that actual one to the FSCS....... .
Who were the liquidators to Picture hun ?The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I also did not sign anything when we settled as we let our solicitor deal with it as i have told you. I have sent FOS all details of this. I just don't know if its something they can look into but if not then i think it should be lol.0 -

It was about settlement of the whole loan but then again the "whole" loan included the PPI policy so that is why i mentioned it and i want to know about challenging the use of rule 78 when there are nothing in the t & C.s about this use and it does not say in accordance with any of the CCA regs - either 1983 or 1984. To me it was used and not in my terms.
Hopefully Tiggrae will be be here soon with a bit of luck.;)
I have a feeling it will be fine, and if Tiggrae can confirm this too that will be cool.
Bk soon hun.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
